This is a ridiculous rule that definitely needs scrapping, especially as teams now have to name a 25 man squad in the PL Who is to say what is a weakened team ? How many changes? 3? 5? 7? 11? What if the "weakened" team won 3-0 ? Would the fine still have been imposed? Could it then be argued that the team selected in the match(es) before the match with all the changes was the a "weakened" team? Who defines which player is stronger/better than another player? If the powers that be consider themselves able to make the judgement then they may as well give every player a rating at the start of the season and decide the PL title in a Championship Manager style so the fans don't need to waste their time and money turning up to watch actual games every week. I really hope they appeal against this.

A few adverts removed and a dozen or so crash barriers removed and the bends can fit nicely up and down the Northam and Chapel terraces. Runners might need to remove their spikes though to avoid slipping on the steps. Once we've seen how successfully that works it won't take long till speedway and greyhounds follow (either as separate events or greyhounds riding motorbikes for added entertainment value)

History gives a sense of what the club is all about, not just trophies but the way the club was started/grew/became what it is, and also how neutrals perceive it to be. In that aspect I'd definitely sooner be a Scummer than a Skate. But equally, probably more important is the future - if it was just about history there would be no point in playing any more games. Ask any Saints and (sensible) Pompey fans how confident they are about a) their next match, b) the rest of this season and c) the next 5 years and I have a sneaky suspicion who will come out top in all 3.

The Chapel as the home singing end should be a no brainer. It's a simple matter of acoustics. If you want to drown out the opposition you do it by singing in greater numbers FACING THEM. Singing from the Northam facing the same way as the opposition simply doesn't work.

Have done it both ways in the past. It's worth paying an agent for finding a tenant and collecting the rent, so far none they have found have left me with arrears, whereas one or two found without agents have. Plus they have always got a higher rent than I'd have asked for myself so effectively they pay for themselves.Not worth paying them to sort out problems if you're local though - as mentioned above half the time they still contact you about it anyway, plus they take a commission on the jobs so the rates charged are usually higher than you could get yourself.
