  1. But that's exactly how it used to happen (minus the suggested on here bit) Difference is back in those days, the dozen or so that heard it in the pub would walk o the ground together and stand together in the ground, so when they started singing it it was already loud enough for others to catch on and join in. nowadays with all seater ticket only stadium, they get to the ground and all disperse to their various blocks/stands and there's never a big enough group together to get anything new started.
  2. Spurs fans singing OWTSGMI In comparison The Northam sounds more like Alvin and the Chipmunks
  3. FFS . It's BECAUSE it's a slow song that everyone can join in. Do Spurs and Stoke fans speed OWTSGMI up because they don't like it ? No they sing it properly Do West Hams speed I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles up because they don't like it ? No they sing it properly Do Bristol Rovers fans speed Goodnight Irene up because they don't like it ? No they sing it properly Do ManUre Away fans speed up because they don't like it ? No they sing it properly I could go on but I'm sure you get the point. Slow songs, sung properly catch on. The whole ground can join in. In fact when a slow song is sung properly it's harder NOT to join in. Give it a try sometime. Do Liverpool fans speed You'll Never Walk Alone up because they don't like it ? No they sing it properly Do Man City fans speed Blue Moon up because they don't like it ? No they sing it properly
  4. It's not difficult either. A a "spokesperson" for want of a better description for a different supporters group about 5 years ago I found the Echo always printed anything sent to them (sometimes heavily edited to suit their agenda) as well as sometimes phoning for quotes. Radio and Tv was different, they rely more on immediate responses and would regularly phone for interviews/quotes, either live or recorded, (sometimes before I was even aware of a story, as was the case recently following ML's sad passing away despite me not being involved for over 4 years, ). So if you want your views heard then start contacting media outlets and give them your details.
  5. To the original question, in the words of Simon Cowell "100% NO"
  6. Hade the same e-mail. FAKE http://www.snopes.com/crime/gangs/carseat.asp
  7. At the end of the day did we approach S****horpe and ask if we could have their manager? Or did their manager hear that we had a vacancy and decided to apply for the job?. Based on stories of around 50 applicants there would be no need for the former, so assuming it was the latter then it was up to him to end his previous employment before he could accept the position with us. So no compensation due. Go Nico, we're the ones playing the strong hand, no need to cave in for anyone.
  8. Is this not working today? Still stuck on FT Bolton or is it a different link per game ?

  11. Cool works on my phone too
  12. A few duplications but more details than the BBC version and around 5 minutes ahead of them. Great addition to the forum.

  14. Thank you Markus. You were the silver lining that saved us from our cloud. The dawn that followed our darkest hour . 'Twas a shame we never really got to know you . R.I.P.
  15. Pitch looks in pretty poor shape for the start of the season
  16. Fair comparison. Suppose none of them have started bleating about their human rights to play / watch football yet
  17. I thought if new owners come in an embargo stays in p,ace till all football creditors are paid in full
  18. Does that mean he's heard all he wants / needs to hear already ?
  19. That might explain AA's "holiday".
  20. How appropriate, so is the town itself, maybe someone could cut them off too.
  21. I hired a cine projector recently from Parkers the camera specialists in Woolston, around a tenner for 24hrs. (would post a link to them but it comes up with a warning atm)
  22. Keep GSTQ (or GSTK) for occasions when the monarch is in attendance. But for sporting events etc England needs it's own. Land of Hope and Glory seems the most "celebratory" so gets my vote.
  23. http://www.pompeytrust.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=166%3Apst-statement-on-hmrc-appeal&catid=34%3Ademo-category But you did. You turned up. You paid to watch. You went to Wembley 4 or 5 times. You went into Europe. You revelled in your "success". You were the "Best Fans In The World"™ when things were going your way. You condoned it right up until the **** hit the fan. So don't start ****ing grizzling now.
  24. Anyone on Twitter get following @raoulontherun whilst , excuse the pun, the jokes still running
  25. I reckon we may have run at a loss last year - just as it takes a while to get a new team gelling on the pitch it takes a new business owner to rectify/remove loss making practices. I'd guess that we will at least break even this year. But your break even crowd figures aren't really relevant comparisons. In the PL we broke even at 21K paying higher wages but also RECEIVING **** loads of Sky tv money. I'd guess the reduction in the Sky income is bigger than the reduction in wages.
