I agree with this. Scienza leaving is not as nailed on as some people think. Much will depend on what happens with Tonda and the FA but if Tonda survives the FA enquiry it would not surprise me if Leo stays.

I received a full refund, including the booking fees, to my credit card yesterday morning. I think they’re working through in order of the purchase dates.

What an appalling advert for The Championship this boring and tedious game is proving to be. Doubtless Borough will claim that, but for Spygate, they would have been superb in all areas of the field.

Looking above, not sure that the FA six week issue makes one iota of difference. We know what the result will be don’t we. Fairly obvious isn’t it? If the club has any chance of clearing up this utterly appalling mess they need to get on with it and make some very swift and bold decisions. Both sackings and appointments. Plus new contracts for any players they want to try and keep. Bree for example - though I doubt he’ll stay now unfortunately.

It would be fair to say that this whole sorry saga has turned out to be every bit as bad as initially rumored. Most of us would never have thought this possible - and I still can’t understand how the club has managed to get itself into such an utterly shambolic mess. It’s going to take years for the club to recover – if it ever does. Quite apart from the reports of lies, bullying and spying the mess which the club is now in exposes fundamental failings at the heart of Saints’ corporate management and accountability. Massive reconstruction is required from top to bottom if the club is to have any chance of recovering its reputation in the future.

There has, rightly, been a lot of criticism of the ridiculous Borough forum posts. Unfortunately this forum is in danger of plumbing the same levels the last few days.

Weirdly I feel far more confident about the Playoffs this season than I did two years ago. We can win at Wembley - and should win tbh. We are the form team by a mile If we don’t go up we’re definitely at risk of losing some key players. Says a lot about the quality of parts of the team we have this season compared to a couple of years ago.

Just back from the game. So proud of our players, of Tonda and also our brilliant fans. We’ll be back at the end of May for another great day out! Difficult to single someone out from what was a brilliant performance by our team but if I had to make a choice I thought Jander was utterly outstanding today.

Casper Jander should get far more credit than he often does. Overall his performances this season have been outstanding. Against Derby he and Downes were superb. I can only see us hanging on to him next season if we go up - and even then he’s going to attract a lot of interest from elsewhere.
