Of course. Its simply that you seem to believe that we don't trade as much with the rest of the world as we could because we are in the EU - and that leaving the EU will somehow increase rest of the world trade. Perhaps you could give some examples of how being in the EU is restricting our RoW trade.

Yeah!! Lets take powers away from those MEPs elected by unfair proportional representation and give them back to true democrats - the Prime Minister we didn't select who is head of the Government elected by one in three of the population; the Lords we dont choose and the Queen we cant change.
-
Ive seen that from you numerous times Wes. How does it work? Is it the case that at the moment we send all the goods we have available to the EU and are unable to fulfil orders from the rest of the world - or is that currently people are a bit lazy and think "shall I export to Japan?, nah lets just ship it to France instead, its closer"

I think success comes from first accepting where you are and that you have no entitlement to anything. Im not singling Everton out, many fans think that because they were successful at one time they are owed it again. Koeman is a good start. Its good for you you've also got Erwin. But EFC have got an awful lot of rebuilding to do, not just with the team but in the organisation. Publicly announcing you are going to throw £100m at a problem isnt the most promising start. Think three years minimum.

Not really. Balague used to live in Liverpool

Not according to this http://www.chrishobbs.com/firstfloodlitfootball1878.htm The Dell had the first permanent floodlights apparently
-
-
and floodlights - its wasnt even them, it was Sheffield.
-
You forgot "and have done eff all for 30 years"
-
Me too. More upset by that than RK actually. Could be we've lost an excellent coach and an okay manager.
-
and Bill Kenwright isnt one of them.

and Ryan Giggs

I'd take LvG. He has a good history and had some major handicaps at Man U.
-
Totally different. The only details the same are a Liverpool club, massive transfer budget, Saints manager just left and loads more wages offered - apart from that, barely comparable.
-
Really? Lallana, Lovren, Shaw and Schneiderlin all had release clauses did they?
-
Thats our trump card. Koeman could probably have it overturned in court, but that would take months and everything would have moved on in the meantime. I think Cortese even did something similar to Adkins.
-
Because saving on paying £2m is so much better than losing VvD, Long, JWP and whoever else?
-
Spoken to him much? God knows how Ranieri roused himself for Leicester after Inter, Roma, Juventus and Chelsea.
-
Didnt they say that yesterday?
-
Most clubs 'work' their players six days a week but normally only for around three hours in the morning. Under Koeman Saints supposedly gave the players Sunday to Tuesday off. At first sight that sounds a bit lazy, but imo a lot of the reason for teams fading is mental and physical exhaustion rather than lack of fitness.
-
Pretty much. That FSA warning / disclaimer " Past performance is no guide to future success" should be tattooed on the foreheads of some of these people. You can play 'where are they now' with the long list of ex top clubs who now aren't - Newcastle, Aston Villa, Sheffield Wednesday, Leeds, Ipswich, Nottingham Forest, Derby to name a few.
-
Ranieri is three years older. How did that work out for them?
-
Im liking the agent who bought Koeman here and is now trying to bring de Boer over.
-
Apparently Koeman scoped him out for Saints but it didnt happen - hopefully because someone else overruled him. Maybe we're parting company at the right time....

Exactly, and given that 1. the club continuously update their prospective managers list and 2. Have sacked two of the previous three managers despite contracts its clear the club might believe in the plan, but not in having the same person deliver it.
