The obvious answer is 'nothing' because the economics don't work. Presently England (c50 million) can subsidise Scotland (5m) without it costing too much per head. Getting Scotland, Wales and NI (c10m total) to provide meaningful sweeteners to England is clearly a non starter

You either haven't read or haven't understood the document. Even including North sea oil and gas revenue Scotland is heavily in deficit, more so than the rest of the UK. Oil and gas income is projected to continue to decline.

It will be a clear 'no' imo for the same reason Thatcher won a third victory when unpopular in the polls. A lot of people say they are undecided when the really intend to vote for the less 'acceptable' option. How can 17% of people really be undecided on a question like this?

Totally agree, an amazing effort raising an amazing amount of money. Im sure he will get a big cheque in the stadium and lots more donations. I never had the folk hero respect for him as a player that many others did - but he has my utmost respect now.
