  1. He didnt stand out during the Brighton friendly, although one match is no guide obviously.

  3. Bye
  4. Bad hair. He'd fit in with Taider and JWP but Pelle would be embarrassed by him. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/15198/9187333/sky-sports-scout-in-association-with-wyscout-reports-on-solly-march
  5. If you're right a goal difference of +13 could have seen us in 6th last season.
  6. Good balanced post, welcome back.
  7. Or google
  8. I fear our club is supported by incomplete clowns
  9. It is and we've got it. The players coming through from the academy will gain their experience from being squad / backup to key players. Having 25 year old squad players who arent going to develop further but arent good enough to be first choices just blocks off that progression route.

    JWP form

Very few players can command a regular starting place in central midfield until their 20s, its probably the hardest position on the pitch. I like JWP but I cant seem him being more than bit part player for a couple of seasons yet.
  11. There is a major difference in law between allowing free speech and recruiting for terrorism. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2648480/Brits-returning-fighting-Syria-face-life-jail-new-criminal-offence-committing-terrorism-abroad.html http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/uk-woman-convicted-funding-terrorism-syria-24964256
  12. That would be my main criticism. It seems (only seems) that tried to get our preferred targets on the cheap and lost out - so have ended up overpaying for a seconadary target in desperation. If we'd made more sensible approaches earlier we might have ended up with a better result.
  13. Cork is a decent squad player but his problem is that he isnt as good at DM as Wanyama or Schneiderlin; offers little creativly or goal threat, cant play on the wings and isnt as good as Clyne at right back. Which begs the question why would you keep him.
  14. Goalie is stronger, midfield has more creativity and variety in it, attack is stronger than last season after Rodriguez's injury and Osvaldos departure, defence not so much.
  15. A thread on two blokes catching a train? 'kin ell.
  16. Underpriced by £8,000 according to transfermarket. http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jack-cork/profil/spieler/40613
  17. Cyanide is overrated as a half time beverage
  18. Its indifferent - 1 goal every four games - although in fairly poor teams. If he could get up to 1 goal in 3 for Saints he and we would do well.
  19. Getting paid £6m pa in the Gulf apparently, £115,000 pw. Hard to give that kind of money up.
  20. Shaw maybe - but Calum chambers is far from thick - you can tell that from the quality of his answers and the way he handles himself in interviews.
  21. C'mon it was a glorifed shed - but you're right the atmosphere was electric - especially before the capacity was reduced.
  22. We couldn't, £12m more like - but agree Ings is better value for money.
  23. "We think you are about as good as Shane Long". Cant see that working personally.
  24. I think what that person did to your Dad was a thoughtless way to end it, as with people jumping in front of trains and tubes - but the act itself can be a brave one. Some people come to realise that there is no cure for whatever individual demons ail them - and so think that their family and friends will be better off without them dragging everybody down. Sometimes they're wrong but sadly sometimes they're right.
  25. Thats Alex Crook story researching on google and twitter for the next hour then!
