  1. Nice wail. As to the susbstance, do you agree that taxation rates should reflect income levels - or should they be lower for the top 1%?
  2. And even still scouting targets on Wednesday. If you still arent sure who you want two days before the window closes, there has to be a problem.
  3. Put another way, the top 1% who control 21% of the nations wealth pay only 7% of the tax.
  4. No-one can see that far into the future.
  5. No you wouldnt. Uneducated and uncivilised gangs of thugs would take it from you and burn the rest. hth.
  6. Baby Bjorn is great.
  7. Maybe they were poised at the time when the article was written - in the afternoon. Just a thought.
  8. This - and dramatically increase the progression of council tax bands payment so its related to value. For example a typical bill for a £250,000 house is around £1,500 but for a £2.5m house its only around double that - should be around £15,000 imo and £150,000 for a £25m house.
  9. Exactly this. And dont give older babies in nappies orange juice - it makes their wee really acid and gives them terrible nappy rash - painful for them and lots of crying for you.
  10. True. I rate him as more than a championship though, Tadanari potentially has what it takes too. When people moan about our lack of pace up front what they mean is RL is painfully slow. Thats the issue, not simply signing more strikers.
  11. If Lee, Rodriguez and Sharp arent the players we need we shouldnt have signed them.
  12. Just smacks of someone playing with a train set to me. Too much competition for places in one area and almost none in another. Not a recipe for happy bunnies or success imo. Hope it changes.
  13. Meh. Signing six additional attacking players in 8 months no defenders and 1 GK hints at something not being well.
  14. He's become Stu Romsey Saint / Dave Benson Philips - either literally or metaphorically. Shame really - he knows his football stuff.
  15. Ohio 4 pints: EA 3
  16. Thats what you do against better teams though - burn up lots of energy trying to get an early goal and then try to hold on. Reckon it will settle down and we'll come out on top later.
  17. Southampton recruits Bologna midfield star, Gaston Ramirez. The 21-year-old Uruguayan international has signed a five year contract with the newcomers in the Premier League. Here is the good news to all Southampton fans. Premier League newcomer has made it clear with Bologna midfielder Gaston Ramirez. The purchase went to the end to 120 million, a record sum for the club, and will give Ramirez 490 000 kronor a week. Five-year Contract. The contract is written in five years. In addition, the Birmingham Hill, Curtis Davies making Ramirez company, according to Mirror Football. Never used it or seen it used in real life but learnt a bit about the theory in psychology at university. Its a recognised technique for modifying unwanted patterns of behaviour. Trouble is some clowns have taken the technique and used it to run think yourself succesful seminars which make them a lot of money but Im not sure it helps the people who attend them much. imo in business if you've already got a sound idea and the requisite skills NLP could help you be more focussed and give you an additional edge. It wont help those who just want to give up a dead end job and become rich and successful ('last year I was broke and now I drive an Aston Martin') inside a year.
  19. Not sure about star player this year - but I reckon Clyne will prove to be the bargain signing.
  20. Those arent the only two options though are they? The individual instructions you give to players have far more influence in the shape of the game than the formation they line up in at kick off.
  21. Most (successful) modern teams are about being fluid - players moving forward in attack and defending in numbers so you flood the opposition by having a man over. A lot of the talk about set formations is like talking about static trench warfare - a bit outdated imo.
  22. Thats why I dont do facebook and cant understand why anyone over about 24 does. School reunions every 20 years are a bit too frequent for me, daily updates are just a waste of their life and mine.
