  1. Enterprise will pick you up / drop you off.
  2. But surely you everyone knows you arent going to attract the very top talent (even if you have the money) in your first promoted season. Incremental improvement, its hardly radical - though apprarently too complex for some.
  3. Its almost as if Stu Romsey Saint / Dave Benson Philips was back posting.
  4. Fans of Bologna can smile jumps transfer Ramirez to Southampton. Despite an offer of 15 million euros, the red and blue do not accept the terms of payment of English: is breaking. The midfielder for now does not move. Surprise: The Bologna breaks with Southampton and is held Gaston Ramirez. The midfielder was on the brink of English society, then the reverse of red and blue. What went wrong? The President Albano Guaraldi and the Director General Roberto Zanzi not accept payment imposed by the Premier League club. The offer of the Saints lived up to expectations: 15 million for 70% of the player's card in hand to staff of Ramirez. The red and white but they are not going to pay everything at once. The Bologna does not think so - he writes the 'Gazzetta dello Sport' - and laid down the law: yes purchase in installments, but the bill must be settled within one year. In addition, the first installment must be rather 'substantial'. At that point the Southampton surrendered. And now? To the delight of fans Bologna negotiation seems to be skipped completely. Ramirez will not be happy, convinced as the British proposal for a respectable engagement and eager to fly in the UK. The parties are still very close. And the transfer market you never know. http://www.goal.com/it/news/7/calciomercato/2012/08/21/3321121/i-tifosi-del-bologna-possono-sorridere-salta-il-trasferimento-di-?source=breakingnews
  5. Whats wrong with you two? Its not even pedantry, its something weaker even than that. He wrote "If this comes off, and we add another player or 2 then it's plausible that a lot of us will be seeing the best Saints team in our lifetime". Since the 1982 team was 30 years ago and you'd need to be nearly 40 plus to remember it what he wrote was self evidently true.
  6. So is the 'a' - the absence of theism. As with amoral, asexual etc
  7. No bottle blondes, magnums of Cristal and lines of coke? Are you sure your Ramirez is the real deal?
  8. Enterpise. Cheap and good. http://www.enterprise.co.uk/car_rental/intresImage.do?imageId=95795.2&key=995.en.GB.......&page=home
  9. Seems a lot of money to spend just to **** Gus Poyet off.
  10. That's Berlesconi's negotiating technique, probably not so much Cortese's.
  11. Lightweight.
  12. So the average annual budget in lg1 is around £2m and Pompey have £1.5m. Is that about right?
  13. Thats exactly what he's suggesting. I have a lot of time for Adam Blackmore.
  14. MKake it look like there is internal opposition to the regime, possibly encouraging a revolt.
  15. Shouldnt he be acting less like a big girl's blouse in that case? Details are important in carrying the image thing off.
  16. Disagree totally. If the club had been wound up in January then the large bulk of that £1.8 m would never have been incurred, the players would have reived their full contracts payments from the PPs and the club wouldnt have burned through another £10m or so of cash. Stringing out the process for 8 months, charging £1.8m in fees, screwing the players, and still only 'tentatively' getting £500,000 for creditors is disgraceful imo.
  17. Weird. You used to be a decent poster. Lost the plot totally.
  18. Same here. Easyjey are basic customer service and no frills but are fundamentally honest imo. Ryanairs are shysters.

You mean he hides his ISP and posts as a savoury snack? Not THAT much smarter tbf.
  20. Thanks for that. I'd never heard of him and had to look him up. Im glad I did, great life story.
  21. I wonder whether Cortese harbours dreams of owning us himself or whether he likes having pretty much carte blanche (I guess) with the Liebherrs
  22. Thats what I said to my missus in the delivery room for our second. We stopped at two for some reason.
  23. I knw but my point is that (at least the times Ive been there) its been less than half full and with all the atmoshpere of a barn. Make it free, improve the beer and the increased popularity would probably generate more cash long term.
  24. ....and different manager, coaches, chairman and league. Apart from that there is a lesson for us.
  25. I wouldn't - and thats the whole point. You only claim benefits and work for free if you really, really need to. Ive no problem with people who are unemployed after say 6 months working for benefits. It makes no sense to offer that 'free work' to companies though - they will just reduce their paid staff.
