Nah, it wasn't fence sitting. It was simply observing a mis-match between a closed question and an open scenario. For the same reason if someone asks me "Does God exist?" my answer isn't "yes" or "no". The only logical answer to both questions is "I've no idea, let's wait and see" Being the only logical pragmatist on the forum has got to be worth some kudos points, surely?

There's a simple solution.... Get 650 people to stand as independent candidates at the next general election (one per constituency) then get c.12,000,000 people to vote for them. If everyone is as fed up with "traditional politics" as would appear the case then this should be a doddle...
