  1. For the first time since he arrived I'm on the cusp of joining the Gaston Pessimists Club. Banega as replacement in January please Mr Cortese
  2. Team as expected. Osvaldo on bench Hooiveld preferred over Yoshida (on bench) Edit: missed the fact that Gallagher is on the bench instead of Ramirez!

  4. I agree with Turkish
  5. This. The fans aren't shareholders in the club. That said, I've lost sight of who would be in receipt of the proceeds of any future sale. The high net worth chaps I assume?
  6. Good start for the warm up act... @SouthamptonFC: #SaintsFCU18s have taken the lead against their @Arsenal counterparts inside a minute through Josh Sims. Follow @AlexUCannon for more. @SouthamptonFC: It's now 2-0 to #SaintsFCU18s! Ryan Seager has doubled the lead on a rainy day at Staplewood after only two minutes. What a start!
  7. Yes, although he's not really my type

  10. Sounds good. Can one park in the car park for the duration of the game? And how big are your rowlocks?
  11. It's largely unprovable, which is what makes these opinion articles just that: an opinion
  12. Just because an organisation (e.g. The BBC) makes it easy for its staff to acquire a poppy doesn't mean they don't also wear it for 'genuine' reasons. It would be a tad cynical to think otherwise... If this chap could come up with some stats to back up his suspicions then maybe his point of view would be more compelling. The words 'mountain' and 'molehill' spring to mind.
  13. @pn_neil_allen: RT @danroan: Supporters Direct announces Chief Executive David Lampitt will be leaving the supporters' trust movement at the end of the year.
  14. Indeed. I would imagine it was us pushing for this rather than Everton as they've got two home games over Christmas, so there wasn't really an incentive for them to widen the gap between the two. So, yep, good of Everton (in footballing terms) to agree to the move, but totally agree with everyone else that this could have been foreseen and agreed months ago...
