Wasn't he only "mocking" clubs that borrowed beyond their means though? By borrowing against guaranteed future income ( TV money) we're not borrowing beyond our means. Maybe if we dig out the original Cortese quotes about his aversion to borrowing it'll put things into context.
What it means to me is not giving a stuff* what people think about my level of 'supportership' and not judging how and why others choose to support/follow the same football team as me.
(*apart from bothering enough to post on this thread of course, just to pre-empt the usual wisecracks...)
Cheers. My son is desperate to go to this one but I guess the chances of it going to general release are slim even with a full allocation. At least he got to see us play away at Dagenham on a cold January afternoon. The kids of today have never had it so good
