Yep, motorcycle accident apparently. We too took forever to get out of the short road leading up to Charlotte Place. Ended up sticking with it but took about an hour in total to get from car park to start of M3. Then came of at Winchester and headed up the A31. Home by 7.

I usually park in the small outdoor car park next to Charlotte Place (Jurys Inn) car park. 10 minute walk to the stadium from there.
