  1. Front row of the directors' box
  2. Yep. Apologies. I've spent too long on the Pompey Takeover thread. That should of course be 2% of 20% of 18.5%.... ;-)
  3. Judging by this video he's going to struggle to come to terms with a stadium the size of Fratton park....same number of fans mind you... [video=youtube;k4rEvlzH-ZQ]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4rEvlzH-ZQ
  4. A dream come true? Only if the poor chap has been having quite a few nightmares recently....
  5. First class train to Woking then half-hourly Rail-Air Coach service to Heathrow. Used it plently of times. Hassle free door-to-door service (assuming you can avoid rush hour on the M25)
  6. What about.....nah, forget it... ;-)
  7. Source? Cheers :-)
  8. Hurry....while stocks last.... @pn_neil_allen: RT @wilf2297: @officialpompey can we have a RT to say pompey megastore IS OPEN 10-4 mon to sat! ....we wouldn't want them to be caught trading whilst insolvent, now would we?
  9. Simple question, simple answer: A significant percentage of the British population have an intelligence deficiency.
  10. ^This. 100%
  11. @pn_neil_allen: Barnsley target Marko Futacs been told by Appleton he will not be offered a better #Pompey deal. Take it or leave it. http://t.co/k96hmW0C How in the name of Jesus Christ the Lord are they able to offer a "very good new contract for League One" in the first place?
  12. ^This
  13. If the statue is such a bad idea (as that article implies) why was it ever included as an option in the first place? And, as MLG has pointed out before, how is giving out free tickets to school children (one assumes for seats that would have gone unsold in the first place) going to cost £30,000? So, the Football League give the club £30k, the club hand out £30ks worth of tickets, and the £30k ends up in the club's bank account. No? Carlsberg don't do pulling wool over the Football League authority's eyes, but if they did...
  14. Whatever the figure is you can be sure it'll give rise to a 43 page debate with half of the forum claiming we should've sold more by now and half claiming that we've sold more than expected because the 'plastics' are back...
  15. The forum thought police will indeed have a field day with that one... ;-)
  16. Yeah....they should be at home moaning about it on an Internet forum like the rest of us normal people...
  17. Sorry - I phrased my question poorly - I was talking in general rather than about this match. In other words, why did they build a roof that is designed to halt play for 30 minutes. Wasn't there a better type of roof available that closes quicker? (that said, I've just been told it's not the speed that the roof closes its the time it takes for the air inside the arena to adjust to the new conditions.) All seems like a big faff to me. And, given there was a good chance that rhe game was going to run into dusk, wouldn't it have made more sense to close the roof before the match started...?
  18. It's only our problem if the Premier League tell us that a red kit and a white kit is unacceptable.
  19. Why did they opt for a roof that takes 30 minutes to close?
