Ok....it's confession time....(Happy Easter btw)....official statistics show that I've been the most positive poster on this forum this season (undisputed fact).....I've predicted a top 2 finish since the beginning, even when we were going through our winter dip....but....for the first time this season I've woken up with the gut feeling that we'll now slip into the play-offs at the last hurdle.
Please forgive me Lord.
On a slightly related topic, can someone quickly remind me what year the rules of Association Football were changed so that defenders are allowed to blatantly push the opposing forwards at every single attack? I must have missed that rule change.
Actually, not knowing the score until after the game isn't a bad tactic....my nerves are already shot to piece knowing I'm going to be there witnessing it unravel in front of my eyes! :-)
Just woke up. I dreamt I spent the whole game trying to find our seats in a stadium that wasn't St Mary's! We didn't see any of the game but we had a penalty saved by Kelv. The Pompey fans were in small marques a long way from the pitch. No idea what the final result was!
All a bit strange
So, am I the only one starting to get ever so slightly pessimistic vibes about tomorrow...? A bit of reverse psychology never hurt anyone I suppose....
