I know these 'new manager' OS articles and interviews are designed to make fans impressed but, even with that in mind, I genuinely have a good vibe about Adkins. He somehow just feels the right sort of manager for our club. Not a very scientific assessment I know, but something is telling me this is the start of good times ahead....

Great to see he's already using "we" when referring to Saints. A lot of managers take a while to get into that frame of mind, instead using phrases like "this team" for a while. Nice.
