NIGEL Adkins will take charge of S****horpe United's home match with Bristol City tomorrow, the Telegraph has learned.
The 45-year-old took Iron training this morning, despite the uncertainty surrounding his future.
Southampton want to make Adkins their new manager - with the matter of compensation seemingly the only thing holding up his switch to the south coast.
But the on-off move, at the moment, will not be settled before the weekend.
"We just trained as normal this morning," skipper Cliff Byrne exclusively told the Telegraph this lunchtime.
"It's been routine Friday training session in preparation for a big game tomorrow.
"The manaer was there, bright and bubbly as normal. The manager stated the facts yesterday morning and nothing has changed as far as I know.
"I very much think he will be in charge for the Bristol City game. He didn't give us any information to suggest that he wouldn't be."
