  1. I would be happy if he stays but to be able to answer the question posed I would need to know who has been lined up to replace him (if indeed thst was the case)
  2. Cameron got more votes than Blair in 2005. Says it all really
  3. Would be a smart move by csmereon to give chancellor job to cabel but very unlikely I'd have thought
  4. Exactly the question I posed yesterday. Like yourself, I don't understand how they could do that
  5. Mrs Trousers is a parent governer at a local primary school and while I can concur that the school is well run I know that there is a lot of central government orientated waste and red tape when it comes to the financal side of things.
  6. Clegg was true to his word even though it ean't in his interests to do so. For that I applaud him.
  7. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/election_2010/default.stm End of the road for Brown? Or won't Cameron play ball?
  8. Who did you vote for out of curiosity?
  9. Gosh
  10. Wasn't she British Telecom?
  11. It's clear that Cameron should side with the SNP and push through Scottish independance. To have such a large majority in England yet having no mandate to rule has sadly changed my mind on maintaining the Union.
  12. It transpires that people were turning up a 7pm to be confronted by huge queues, so they went home and came back at 9pm only to be confronted by even longer queues. So this isn't just a case of dome muppet pitching up at 5 to 10, rather that the infrastructure wasn't in place to handle the throughput throughout the evening.
  13. + 1
  14. Probably Markus gearing up for a takeover of Pompey and taking over their spot in the championship (rebrandimg as SFC of course)
  15. Blimey...over 11% swing to Tories in 2nd labour safe seat...they'll get a working majority if that's reflected over the more marginal seats
  16. They've now changed exit poll to Tories 305 and lib dems 61 (labour no change)
  17. Slightly bigger swing to Tories in Sunderland compared to exit poll
  18. slightly bigger swing (8.4%) to Conservatives in first result (Sunderland) compared to exit poll
  19. Labour MPs falling over themselves to say that they would be happy to do a deal with the Libs Dems. Funny how they refused to comment on it before today....
  20. That is correct...if brown can get 326 MPs on his side from whatever party it doesn't matter what the Tory score is (as long as the Tories get under 326) - weird old system!!
