  1. Mawhinny stated on national TV the day they docked 10 points that the club could appeal
  2. I thought they were being careful when they wrote the 'catch all' rule that gave them the ability to use their discretion when an unaccounted for scenario arose?
  3. Orchestral Manouvres in the Dark - All that Glitters All that glitters Is not gold So don't believe What you've been told And take a chance of being strong Because they'll destroy you If you're wrong
  4. Let's hope someone in the national media reads it who then tracks down Mr Lowe for an interview to explain his rationale 4 months ago. I know he blamed Barclays in his first (and only?) post-admin interview with Sky News but why hasn't anyone in the media approached him this week to explore the facts of what happened, especially in terms of the poor timing when it came to going into Admin???
  5. Would you like to gamble your points for tonight's star prize? ..
  6. And there was me trying to drop subtle hints about them increasing their sales in the morning..... p.s. good evening Duncan
  7. Cheers - so doesn't have to be a formal arrangement then....?
  8. Bugger is a slang word used in the vernacular British English, Irish English, Australian English, Canadian English, New Zealand English, South African English, Indian English, and occasionally also in Malaysian English, Scots and (rarely) American English. Today, the term is a general-purpose expletive, used to imply dissatisfaction, or used to describe someone or something whose behaviour is in some way displeasing.
  9. Maybe the expectations could have been managed better by more transparancy from the off? Not criticising, just observation.
  10. Thanks - I wasn't far off.... I get the feeling they may well sell a few more tomorrow morning in that case....
  11. No, didn't miss it. But, alas, it doesn't answer the question that I pose in this thread. Is it a 'contracted in' group of "gentlemen" or a more casual arrangement?
  12. 'Sometimes'.....but If he'd have wheeled out someone on the Sunday Times Rich List I'd venture that he would have been a labelled 'winner'

  14. And maybe this lack of ownership transparancy is troubling the Football League too perhaps....? The timing is indeed odd...especially as it gives rise to more questions than answers, at a time where we, and the FL, need more answers than questions...IMHO
  15. What about the Swiss?
  16. That was the working title for the ABBA come back single in 1994, if I'm not mistaken
  17. Ok, go on then..... Kate Bush parties....and heroin
  18. Could they not sell the 'intellectual property' they accumulated during the 21 day exclusivity period to another party?
  19. What's the most copies the Daily Echo have ever sold on one day?
  20. Kate Bush parties
  21. But are they contracturally 'signed up' or is this some sort of gentleman's agreement. My gut feel tells me the latter, hence I'm not convinced....
  22. Not too far away from M.F to be fair...
