  1. By the way, anyone else notice Mukesh's penchant for red ties?
  2. I can indeed;)
  3. Not quite as imaginative as that I'm afraid. Roland Rat = TV-am = Nick Owen = Luton Town There's got to be an outlet for my never ending talent somewhere....
  4. Was that chap from the council with him this time?
  5. The one about Indian people eating Indian food?
  6. Interesting.....Almost worthy of a chin rubbing...."Hmmmmm...."
  7. I eat fish and chips.
  8. Prefer the earlobes on Anil TBH
  9. Anyway, talking of Asturius....I see their website is still up and running.... http://www.asturius.com Alas, I still haven't cracked the entry password
  10. Yep, mentioned him in the post before the one I quoted above. Honest. I'm gonna have to scrutinise the Football League rules to see if I lose out on a mere technicality....
  11. Yes, some bright spark first mentioned his name way back on 11th August 2008, in the infamous 'Asturius Sports' thread..... http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?p=9833&highlight=ambani#post9833 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 11-08-2008, 11:49 AM trousers Full Member Anil Ambani ? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Where do I collect my prize?
  12. ITV are in the process rebuilding the 'ITV Local' website and the original link doesn't currently work anymore: http://www.itvlocal.com/meridian/sport/?player=MER_Sport_15&void=175029
  13. Yeah, fair point...I guess I was coming from the smaller local company perspective - i.e. those companies whose turnover relies a lot on the existence of the football club. I'm just a sentimental old fool at the end of the day!
  14. Thought: Won't most of the creditors, whom Begbies Traynor are there to protect, want both: (a) protection from outstanding debts and (b) the prospect of continuing to do business with the club in the future? So, for the Administrator to ONLY look at protecting the 'here and now' revenue of creditors by choosing the 'make a quick buck' suitor would be short sighted and doing a disservice to the very people they are deployed to protect? For example, if I run the company who prints the match day programmes, I will want a resolution that (a) makes sure I'm paid for all the programmes I have printed over the last quarter and not yet been paid for and (b) means that I can continue to print programmes in the future because the club is in long term safe hands. So, long winded way of saying that I agree with your concerns Duncan but would be surprised (aka naive ?!) if Mr Fry is only thinking of the creditors in the past and present tenses without considering that these very people he is protecting have a living to make going forward.
  15. Did you not follow the myriad of 'Sharewatch' threads on here over the last 9 months? It would appear mine and Bridge Too Far's talents are wasted on here...
  16. Trust me, all hell will break loose once that chap finds his scanner in the loft
  17. Which reminds me of the unanswered question from the "It's Allen" era....why was no-one hauled over the coals by the appropriate authorities for artificially inflating the share price to 64p (or whatever it reached) in April/May 2007? I believe people have 'proved' that the Allen connection was based on conjecture by 'a certain person' but if that was the case wouldn't the stock exchange have come down on them like a tonne of bricks? Of course, that is one of many unanswered questions over the last two years....
  18. Heavy discounts on travel to Saints game from Isle of Wight Nice one Red Funnel. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/articles/article.php?page_id=11624
  19. I thought that was the case too, but I read somewhere the other day that the "outgoing SLH board" actually did the appointing of the administrators. Will try and dig out the relevant quote.
  20. Williams? Dan Williams? Roll back those years. We love you Rhonda. All is forgiven.
  21. That's been bugging the Conspiracy Theorists Society for days now. What's stopping an Administrator excercising 'artistic licence' when it comes to the declaring the number of interested parties? Not that I'm suggesting for one second that the SLH administrators would contemplate this. Purely a hypothetical question. Are Administrators audited? Of course, exagerating the number of potential suitors could be a tactic all administrators deploy in order to keep the competition on their toes and get the best price....Where's Clapham Saint when you need him...? Who knows?
  22. or "Jackson"? (not Michael)
