Any news on the legal action that the club took against LD Sports last year....? https://saintsmarching.com/2020/09/04/southampton-saints-chief-speaks-clubs-legal-action-ld-sports/ Speaking to the Athletic, Semmens said: “It’s important for our fans to know that we will pursue them to the end of the Earth until we get our money back but for this season, it was important that we found the right sponsor so we can move forward. “(Legal action is) not being considered. It’s already taken. It’s something we have to do. They have a contract with us. We have commitments, they have commitments, and everybody else around us has followed through on their commitments. We expected them to do the same.” All seems to have gone a tad quiet... it's almost as if LD Sports were never a real entity.... p.s. you'd have thought they would have updated their website by now... http://ldsports.uk/about p.p.s. no squirrel news either

I guess now that Henderson has played c.30 mins, any relapse he has injury wise could be classed as "new"...? (i.e. the act of making an appearance wipes the injury slate clean?) #thinkingoutloud

What's the UEFA deadline for any changes to squads? In other words, is there still time left for further changes if someone else was to be crocked before the tournament starts?

# starts sweepstake on Lord D's first "SWF cult" post # I'll have 9.23am
-
I'll bite and ask again... How do you know what the outcome would have been if JWP had stayed on? #nonsequitur
-
I'm convinced Lord D only does it because he knows how much I get aroused by it #loverboy
-
How do you know we wouldn't have done better than that if JWP had stayed on, oh wise one? #mysticmeg #nonsequitur

Anyone got a list of previous winners of this award? Might be an interesting indicator of the quality of recent academy output.

I'm trying to apply logic rather than opinion
-
Southgate could/should have already made that tactical call before including TAA. Why would he change his mind now?
-
Would be the most illogical replacement so nailed on
-
Ha... Very much this... #southgatelogic

Yeah, think this is where my thinking-out-loud was leading. If the prospect of selling as a premier League club has reached a stalemate, then something as 'creative' as relegation might be something that is worth Gao contemplating, even if, on reflection, it's bonkers... what other options does he have if he can't attract a suitable buyer whilst in the PL...?
-
JWP would be an able 4th choice cover for RB thus adding some more flexibility to the squad
-
Leaves the door ajar for JWP maybe? (Waves red rag in Lord D's face...)

# Thinking out loud klaxon # Could it be argued that Gao might only get the financial settlement he wants/needs if we get relegated? I'm thinking he might stand more chance of getting closer to his money back if the club's value declines (due to relegation), and is therefore more sellable, and he siphons the parachute payment out of the club to make up the difference...? As I say, just thinking out loud so could be a load of old tosh (for once!)
-
I refuse to believe that

Steady on Lord D.... Mention it any more than 17 times a day and I might start to get too aroused.
