FFS MLG... I was attempting to see if anyone else would pick up my deliberate misinterpretation of the article. At least give the others a couple of hours to discover it before you jump in with your reveal. Jeez, I thought we had an understanding on this by now

https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/12113276/fa-threatens-premier-league-clubs-over-january-foreign-signings "The Football Association has urged Premier League clubs to accept its new system that will block "lower quality foreign players" from joining in the January transfer window." So, so more signing 'hidden gems' like Mané for clubs of our stature then...

Pompey top of the table... quelle surprise... https://www.hampshirelive.news/news/hampshire-news/hampshire-area-coronavirus-infection-rate-4637369

He's been "poised to sign" for several months now if previous reports are anything to go by...

Yep, we've all known that for several months.... What we don't know is the "why?" bit

What was "the situation"? Cheers

This lengthy interview with Fran Castano (the chap who discovered Salisu in Ghana and knows him inside out) makes no mention of any issues that he thought Salisu would suffer from in transitioning to the Premier League. Yes, he talks about him being "very shy" but that's about it.... https://www.polishnews.co.uk/mohammed-salisu-to-southampton-fast-rise-from-ghanas-grime-pitches-soccer-information/ You'd have thought if Salisu had 'long term issues' then this would have come to light before or by now. (Not that I'm spending far too much time pondering on the mysteries behind this transfer of course )

My hunch is that this is more likely than a more run-of-the-mill injury issue. There's no news reports on ye olde internet to suggest he's either injury prone or that there's anything serious about the muscle injury he picked up in July before he joined us. And, of course, there's always the possibility he caught the Coronavirus and is suffering longer term issues with that (the so called 'long covid').

WTF is going on with this team...?

Did he say what's wrong with him?

If there are any statistitions out there, I'd be interested to know how many changes per game we make to the B Team starting 11 (on average). My impression is that there are only a handful of regular starters (if that) which can't be helping with team gelling and continuity

People that want to pay more tax can already do so voluntarily. However, I prefer to give my 'spare' cash direct to people in need or organisations that are more adept than governments at distributing wealth (yes, I know we've had this conversation before which went around in the usual futile internet forum circles )

Hmmm... more cloak and dagger stuff from SFC...? At least we have the Derby line-up....

I've made Calvert-Lewin my Fantasy Football captain this week, so we're nailed on clean sheet winners I reckon

They can chafe a little, especially in warm weather

Isn't that more down to said minglers being as thick as mince rather than the policy being bad, per se?
