  1. Man Utd v Spurs will be the 'main game' of the weekend. Looking back at previous semi-final years, what day does the 'main game' usually take place, the Saturday or Sunday?
  2. There is no 'agenda pay gap' (in my humble opinion). You pay people what they are worth (in media terms, that means who is likely to draw in the largest audience by virtue of their presence). McEnroe is bigger box office than Narativlova, ergo he gets paid more. Not rocket science.
  3. Easy one. League. (Assuming we'll need to get at least a point from the Chelsea game to stay up. However, if the Chelsea league game turns out to be a 'free hit' (due to our other results) then the answer is 'cup'... Basically, on reflection, there's too many unknowns to be able to decide definitely)
  4. Yep, agree. Hughes does feel like a good fit, based on his interviews and the game yesterday. I'd be inclined to extend his contact regardless how this season ends up.
  5. Cheers. Thanks for the insight... appreciated
  6. Just back from the game. One of the more interesting 436 mile round trips I've had (re: the road conditions!) A game of two halves... Literally One observation: Lemina looked strangely subdued today - looks a bit unfit? Wembley here we come

  8. I'm not planning on driving back within the next 4 hours
  9. Made it! Hardly any snow up here. Roads were fine after M6 Toll. COYR!
  10. At Stafford services. Well, that was fun. Took me half an hour to get up the hill near my house. The M3 and M25 were OK but the M40 was dodgy in places. Roads much clearer after the M6 Toll road.
  11. Heading out now. Mental road conditions in North East Hampshire... Might see you there!
  12. Source? (Horse's mouth vs Twitter rumour.... Or somewhere in between?) Cheers
  13. Anyone know what kit we're wearing tomorrow? Asking for my son....
  14. Cheers for the heads up John Boy. That's my usual route. So, M4 -> A34 -> M40 it is then
  15. Excellent results. Just need to beat West Ham now....
  16. Hughes to send down Stoke... Headline writers duly poised
  17. There isn't much snow forecast for the Wigan area over the next 48 hours, so zero chance of the game being called off I would venture. Possible significant snow forecast down here though, so you've probably made the right move by staying over half way up. Indeed, you might be the only one who makes it. Be sure to cheer on the lads for us
  18. Good to see his namesake at the game, along with Mr Reed
  19. I thought it was a bit odd earlier when I noticed they've stopped selling them on the OS. Appreciate its too late to post them out, but one would have thought they would keep the remaining tickets on sale for collection from the ticket office only. I guess they might still sell them to anyone who enquires in person
  20. He's actually quite a likeable chap, now that he's rid himself of the stigma of managing Entitled FC
  21. Hesketh in the senior squad one assumes?

  23. Looking at the wording on the OS, it sounds like we had to agree to it rather than it being imposed on us.... It says "the two clubs came to an agreement to move the game" (or words to that effect).
