  4. Laugh out loud indeed. Jolly good fun this. So, going back to my unanswered question, how well do you know the store manager? Cheers
  5. Looking back at mini_me's posting history, I believe he works for Veho, so probably has quite good connections I would venture....
  6. Southampton FC @SouthamptonFC NEWS: #SaintsFC's #FAYouthCup Fifth Round tie with @OfficialFOXES will take place at St Mary's on Thursday 5th February, kick-off 7pm GMT. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/20150129-fa-youth-cup-fifth-round-leicester-city-date-2233394.aspx
  7. I guess what I meant to ask was: "Do you know him well enough to know whether he was telling the truth or trying to 'put you off the scent' with a white lie?"
  8. How do you know the mega store manager is right?
  9. frottage
  10. Anyone got any footage of this chap playing against a team that can defend?
  11. Ah, here's the answer.... http://democracy.portsmouth.gov.uk/ieListDocuments.aspx?MId=2529
  12. I guess that depends on the wording of the planning permission approval. Did the council give specific approval for a building that would become a Tesco store or would it have been more generic than that? The latter probably sounds more likely I suppose.
  13. Anyone know why Point Estates (the company that owns the 'Tesco' land) had 4 charges registered against it on 31st December 2014 (according to Companies House)? Perhaps I should cough up £4 to find out...
  14. They're just applying the finishing touches....

  16. Missed this from last week so apologies if already posted....contains a few chortles and facepalms.... http://thegreensoccerjournal.com/decider-article/back-in-black/ About time someone informed Companies House about that last quote....it's still showing 3 PFA charges against the club despite the "debts being cleared" 5 months ago...
  17. My observation was based on the announcements from guards etc this month. There seems to be more announcements about 'broken down trains' than 'track or signalling' issues in recent weeks.
  18. They have indeed been very poor this month. There seems to be much more incidents of train failures than usual, so perhaps points to an issue with their maintenance dept. Time to re-nationalise I reckon....
  19. They weren't able to stop West Ham, despite being unhappy about it.... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/31000595
  20. That's next week. Away to top of the table Wycombe this weekend.
  21. Sweet Relegation zone on Saturday evening then....
  22. Can't see any reason why he won't be in the squad for the Swansea game. I assume someone's booking a flight for him as we speak....?!
  23. OK, perhaps I should have worded it differently. I mean they have the best interest of the UK in that they don't want it broken apart ergo they wouldn't do anything to jeopardise the future of the UK. The SNP would do anything they could to undermine the UK. Anyway, if there's one thing I should credit the SNP for its that they've made politics almost interesting again
