  1. I think we should use The Guardian as our benchmark for what is acceptable material for a "family newspaper"... http://www.theguardian.com/fashion/2015/jan/22/-sp-penis-flashing-at-rick-owens-menswear-show
  2. He shot himself
  3. But if its as harmful as some people say it is, why not go down the banning route? Seems logical to me.
  4. Define "decent"... I can't think of a 'decent' reason for the existence of the universe but I quite like the fact that its here. #poor analogy klaxon#
  5. Fair points
  6. They'll only do that when it doesn't sell newspapers, which brings me back to my question: how many people have to find this sort of thing anything other than harmless for public opinion to start swaying the editor of The Sun (and The Daily Star)? Some people see it as harmless, you and others don't. Who decides who's right and who's wrong....?

  9. http://order-order.com/2015/01/22/breaking-greens-invited-to-tv-debates/ I understand why the Greens should be involved (they're a UK wide party) but where's the logic in also including the SNP and Plaid Cymru when the majority of the TV audience won't be able to vote for them?
  10. Difficult to tell from what Koeman said at the press conference. It's certainly a valid interpretation and possible implication of what he said though.
  11. Totally agree with that, but at what point do you look to ban something like page 3? When 1 person doesn't think its harmless? When 10% don't find it harmless? 50%? Its all very well people debating what they think is right and wrong about it (that after all is what a forum such as this is all about) but at what threshold does opinion turn into action (e.g. banning it) on something like this?
  12. Bloody good job I wasn't drinking coffee when I read that!
  13. @bigadamsport: #saintsfc Koeman on Jan window: "We have enough players. If we were risking our season, maybe we look at buying. But for 2 weeks, no."
  14. @SouthamptonFC: Koeman on @JayRodriguez9's recovery: "It's going well, but he's not close to [rejoining] the group. He needs more time." #saintsfc
  15. Koeman: "There is nothing serious in the John Guidetti rumours. At the moment we are not looking for another attacker"
  16. Koeman: "We want to know Jack Cork's decision next week. If he wants to move then we need another midfield player"

  18. Koeman: "We want to know Jack Cork's decision next week. If he wants to move then we need another midfield player"
  19. @SouthamptonFC: Koeman: "We'll put out the strongest team that we can. We've had some days off this week and the players are back in freshness." #saintsfc @SouthamptonFC: Koeman expects @AlderweireldTob, @VictorWanyama and @SchneiderlinMo4 to return in "around two weeks" after injuries. #saintsfc @SouthamptonFC: Koeman on @JayRodriguez9's recovery: "It's going well, but he's not close to [rejoining] the group. He needs more time." #saintsfc
  20. Try telling that to Phil Brown... http://www.southendunited.co.uk/news/article/phil-brown-southend-united-portsmouth-preview-manager-2219512.aspx
  21. I've conducted a survey amongst women (i.e. I asked the missus) and can report that Lady Trousers says that page 3 is "harmless" and doesn't have any issues with it. Let me know whether that makes her a bad or good person so that I can report back with the verdict of the SaintsWeb thought police. Cheers
