Doesn't sound nice does it? Yes, ginger is not a race. But one has just as little say in genes that determine the colour of your hair, as you do the colour of your skin.

As I said, a tie in with the Maltese tourist board. So may cost them nothing if the hosts pay. http://www.football-league.co.uk/latestnews/20100603/malta-partnership-announced_2245681_2063057 Also, giving money to the Football League is optional for the public, paying taxes is compulsory (unless you are Pompey )

- They have a nice 5 star hotel with conference facilities and Mediterranean climate. - A tie in with the Maltese tourist board. It isn't tax payers money, so don't worry.

I think a mural in grass of the Alps is needed.

Last year they did "dark atmospheric kit photos" with Paul Wotton in the training dome - rain didn't matter

Delgado was a very good player. It was his injury problems and attitude that let him down.

The exceptional circumstances rule may yet apply to Pompey even if they do get over 75% of the CVA vote, as Leeds did. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/2318216/Leeds-United-handed-15-point-deduction.html http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/leedsunited/United-caught-in-battle-between.3706070.jp

Leeds got -15 points in 2007/08, not -17 points.

Different Ownership and Managment, same old summer
Matthew Le God replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Saints
So you want the club to tell you what it is doing in the transfer market and you don't want other clubs gazumping Saints? You can't have both. How do you know the club hasn't signed a host of players on free transfers(Calderon, Dickson etc) that will join on 1st July when there contracts run out on 30th June? -
No, but my word count on my Mac did in a micro second. The hard copy version is also probably even longer.

Cortese is currently in Malta, I'm sure a few things such as the kit will be announced when he gets back.

There is literally no "news" in that article. Just a vague quote from an agent that Adu would consider a move to England at some point - not even answering the question posed to him! From which the reporter manages to create a 567 word article and then gets it published. A genuine well done to them for actually contacting the agent, but with a quote that means little like that they shouldn't have run a story.

Turkish really is a vile individual.

Different Ownership and Managment, same old summer

5) Are you aware that it is the 7th June and pre seson doesn't start until the end of June? Even if players were signed now there is NO training for weeks, so NO gelling can be done. -

Pre-season training starts in late June. I'm pretty sure today is the 7th June. Pardew, coaches and playing staff are all on holiday atm. How can these new signings you want be gelling with the other players if there is no training for 3 weeks? Saints could be signing players in two weeks time and they'd still get a full pre season. You really do talk crap at times. -

It isn't snobbery. You made a judgement on a player and I'm not sure if you have seen him play much (if at all). I have also made a judgement based on seeing him in the flesh numerous times. My judgement may be right or wrong but at least I can point to personal experience. I'll ask again, what is your opinion of Seaborne based on? -

I'm not agreeing with you. I'm saying I don't rate Seaborne based on the games I have seen him play. I'm wondering what your reasoning for not rating him is? If we have different reasoning then we aren't agreeing even if the end opinion is the same, as I think you have come to the conclusion Seaborne isn't good in a VERY different way to how I have. -

What is that based on? Seen him play much Alpine? I don't think Seaborne is good enough, but at least that judgement is from actually watching games. -
What colour shorts do you want? For over 50% of the last 125 years, Saints didn't wear black shorts. What colour socks do you want? There has been no style of sock dominent in Saints history, they have had blue, black, white, red, red and white.

We should have a... Lowe vs Cowling thread and Cowling vs Cortese thread

Wow http://www.cu-fc.com/page/News/0,,10424~2065280,00.html What a mature and professional chairman Colchester have! At least he is apologizing, but only after his email was sent to a Norwich paper. I'm amazed how stupid he was.
