Would be conditional on a number of factors which they haven't yet met.

You don't need to be in the Premiership to be able to build a Premiership standard stadium, nor do you need a big backer. Swansea, MK Dons and Hull all built quality stadiums whilst in the lower Leagues. A number of others could be added to the list. Also Plymouth, Bristol and Nottingham Forest all have plans for large stadiums. Yes, it is for the World Cup but the Plymouth and Bristol ones are happening regardless of a successful 2018 bid and will just be made bigger if England do win. Also Pompey's spending in the Premiership wasn't at a level to get 17th place. They were spending huge sums on wages and transfers far in excess of a bottom 6 side. Pompey could easily have rebuilt Fratton Park and stayed in the Premiership during those 7 years. They may not have had top half finishes or an FA Cup win but it would have secured the future of the club and still remained in the Premiership. Thus not in anyway a catch 22.

Will be on the BBC and extended ones on Saints Player soon.

Shame the cameraman was rubbish and didn't get it in shot.

Highlights on SSN between now and 1pm.

Case adjorned to 2:30pm, not looking good for Southend. Updated table without Southend - 44 games to play. P PTS 6th Huddersfield 40 67 7th Colchester 40 62 8th Southampton 40 60 9th Bristol Rovers 40 58 Would make it even harder for Saints to make the playoffs.

What a night 4-1 COME ON WALSALL HANG ON
-
I can't see Walsall hanging on sadly. Would be amazing if they do.

Walsall equalize!!!!

I always wanted to be there when Morgan scored.

It isn't 451 tonight or against Charlton. It is 451 when Wotton comes on to seal up the game and sit in front of the defence.

Leave it to Glasgow and Alpine at around 10pm after a 1-1 draw? -
Then why have I listened to it uninterrupted for the last 35 minutes then? If some have no problems, then its your connection.
-
It isn't Saints player, it is your connection. I've never had it cut out for an away game.

A big Lost style black smoke of mystery.

A common factor of having "South" in the name?
-
Read the opening post and look at the table I made. I did all the work for you.
-
I know it is Oldham. But if Southend are removed from the league it means Saints like all other playoff hopefuls are on 39 games and that effectively means no game in hand for Saints and no fixture on the final day of the season.
-
It looks like Southend have a final chance to pay their tax bill by Wednesday. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/s/southend_utd/8617704.stm Should they not, they may well be wound up and results expunged. How would this impact on the League? Well it would become a 44 game season and Saints wouldn't have a game on the last day of the season taking away the game in hand. However all other play off rivals have already played Southend twice and would lose points from both games. Updated League One table without Southend Results EDIT: Including Bristol Rovers 5-1 game P PTS 6th Huddersfield 40 67 7th Colchester 40 62 8th Southampton 40 60 9th Bristol Rovers 40 58 So all clubs would have 4 games left. Saints would be 7 points behind 6th. Currently it is 8 points behind with 5 games left(including a game in hand). So it is in Saints interests for this not to happen. All this probably won't matter as Southend will probably sort something out or go into administration like Pompey did. However it is still a possible future of events.

Likely that doesn't take into account other teams results/fixtures against other teams when calculating highest and lowest possible finishes.
