  1. Hard to do as they are about 3 miles away from the pitch!
  2. I'm puzzled at why you think that would happen.
  3. A pundit's job is in part to discuss incidents and the rules, even as former footballers a lot still don't understand the rules. The BBC, Sky, BT etc should make them all sit a referee theory test before being allowed on air!
  4. 13/14 8th - 56 points 14/15 7th - 60 points 15/16 6th - 63 points 16/17 8th - 46 points
  5. He cost them £45m last summer, Saints aren't going to be buying him.
  6. Not sure why that is so funny?
  7. I'd rather have Redmond and Armstrong
  8. You could stay up with 34 points in... 2018/19 2017/18 2016/17 The last 3 seasons!
  9. Ok... regardless of style... which of their players would you want in out starting eleven? I guess people would make a case for... Pope, Mee, Tarkowski. But anyone else?
  10. How many of their players would you want in our starting eleven playing Hasenhuttl style football and not Dyche style football?
  11. 18th place currently has 25 points from 27 games. Less than a point per game! Over a 38 game season that points per game ratio would equal 33.7 points.
  12. No, says who scored.com
  13. The Europa League qualifying rounds and group stages have some pretty ****ty teams in it. Plus we'd be unlikely to not have any of the first choice players in the team.
  14. My post was responding to how they'd do in the Championship as SKD said they'd struggle. Adams has more than proven himself at that level. Leicester weren't interested in Vestergaard for ****s and giggles. He isn't as bad as many make out. Danso is **** I agree, Smallbone and Vokins I acknowledged are unproven. Using the Leicester match to write off Gunn is unfair, he wasn't to blame for the 9 goals. I think his time will come again. Romeu has declined, but could easily do a job in the Championship.
  15. Well it doesn't really work as a question because you need more than 11 players in a squad, but they'd be competing towards the top.
  16. They don't play because we have better alternatives, that does not mean they aren't capable in the PL.
  17. (and Danso)
  18. Nonsense, all of them except Vokins and Smallbone have shown they are more than capable in the Premier League.
  19. 3 and 6
  20. They are only 4 and 6 points above us. That really isn't much. They are above us due to playing well as a unit throughout the entire season, not individual quality. Squad for squad, Saints have the more talented footballers. If we had been playing 4-2-2-2 for the entire season I don't think it is unreasonable to think we'd be above both of them given the current small gap.
  21. If they made Europe they'd probably slightly increase the squad size to deal with the extra games. You can't judge the squad in a non European campaign season for a European campaign season.
  22. Spinning
  23. Quote the posts that you think are in conflict with each other.
