Where do you go to get tradesman you can trust?
Matthew Le God replied to Give it to Ron's topic in The Lounge
How do they check to see if it isn't written by a friend or family member of the tradesman? Or the tradesman themselves under an alias whilst using different email accounts or IP addresses? -

Slippery slopes can sometimes be fun -
How have you worked out he won't be available for the games in May and possibly late April?

Our home kit doesn't clash enough with their home kit to warrant a kit change, especially if red shorts are used. https://southamptonfc.com/news/2018-02-19/u23-highlights-premier-league-2-southampton-under-23s-newcastle

1) Are you aware Swansea City are the lowest scorers in the Premier League in 2017/18. They have scored only 20 goals in 28 games! 2) Southampton in 2017/18 have scored more league goals than... Matthew Le God replied to John Boy Saint's topic in The Saints
Nonsense, no it isn't. The Wembley pitch is the same size as the standard dimensions in Premier League rules for Premier League clubs... the Wembley pitch is exactly the same size as the St Mary's pitch! - the Wembley pitch is 105m by 68m - the St Mary's pitch is 105m by 68m - 15 of the 20 Premier League pitches this season are 105m by 68m - the other 5 (Everton, Palace, Liverpool, Huddersfield, Chelsea) are unable to be that big due to historic stadium design predating the rules restricting the size Premier League rules state if your stadium can have a 105m by 68m pitch... then you have to! Tis the rules, which is why 15 of the 20 pitches are now as big as Wembley's pitch. -

Does it really matter? They won't get a bigger allocation than any opponent. -
If they have such a clause in the contract then yes. But no such details have ever been revealed and I struggle to recall an example of that happening with any other club. What is more likely to be in the contract is a reduction in the amount they pay if we go down. I don't see why relegation would mean they'd want to end the deal entirely, teams in lower leagues than the Championship get sports companies deals.

Who has done that?

If Wigan can beat City, why declare Saints as having no chance? It would have been extremely difficult at the Etihad of course, but declaring it "no chance" is clearly nonsense.

Ummm... guys... cheer up ffs... -
They were two bad errors, but that doesn't make him a bad player or bad signing. He has a lot of good attributes and it is daft to write a player off on the basis of a few mistakes and football clubs luckily look at the bigger picture of his skill-set rather than the approach of "he ****ed up kicking the ball a couple of times, lets sell him".
-
If players are starting regularly for Lazio, Napoli, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Monaco etc then the club and the player has little reason to go to Southampton. It would be delusional to think Saints can sign the 1st choice players from those teams. In terms of quality of recent signings there isn't much wrong, it is the way the manager is using them and stifling them that is the main issue.
-
He makes the occasional error, but his general play is impressive. Not sure why you've written him off.

How hard did you look? At the time you posted this thread the other one was right at the top of the board

Guido Carrillo - Official: Free Transfer to Elche
Matthew Le God replied to Mr X's topic in The Saints
Who? Because a decent season in the Championship sees strikers valued at £15m+. -
How do those three sound familiar to Saints? 1) What discipline issues comparable to 4 players stealing a taxi have their been at Saints this seaosn? 2) I struggle to see how Lemina & Hoedt are "money wasted" 3) Which Saints player are you claiming matches that description?

If Carrillo isn't a £19.2m (guess at £60k p/w) target-man central striker... who would you suggest is?
