You are right he did play a big part in getting Saints to the Premier League and deserves respect for that. However, he isn't a Premier League quality goalkeeper. Upper Championship level was his peak and if we had to use him a lot this season it would cost us points (as it did early last season). Which Premier League teams would Kelvin Davis be good enough to be first choice for? Most of our competitors towards the top of the league have a better 2nd choice keeper than we do.

Until we reach the point where we are significantly adrift of top spot and have an injury crisis (particularly in defence or keeper), then we are in the title race. We haven't reached that point as we are 3 points behind, are playing extremely well and have no injury crisis.

Would you not be disappointed with 10th? Take out the top 7 from last season and who is better than us? Catching one or two of those 7 isn't completely out of the question, particularly Everton.

Lallana is not a conventional beat the fullback for pace down the outside winger and Saints under Pochettion use Lallana in a narrow midfield where the width comes from Shaw and Clyne almost playing as wingers pushing very high and wide up the pitch. How I've set him on the game is so he can play on the right/left/centre of the 3 in Pochettino's 4-2-3-1 system. He can be used further wide if you need to. They can still both be used as DM's in the game. If played together in a two they aren't both used as DM's. Against Stoke and Fulham Wanyama played as a DM with Schneiderlin and Ward-Prowse as CM's.

Because he is too old to play for them.

Chambers at right back, Clyne at left back is the best option we have if Shaw is injured or suspended.

He is a right back and we already have two good right backs.
