What relevance to a game vs Sunderland in 2013 is how a completely different set of players did in 1997 in a game at Middlesbrough for example? -

I can't be bothered to work it out as statistical websites don't do form over 4 games. We'd obviously be lower, but doesn't take into account we played well against Spurs and were very unlucky, also had a goal wrongfully ruled out vs Swansea. Norwich on the other hand are playing poorly and not getting points, not to mention they play Man City away on the last day. Can you really see Norwich overtaking us? -

So you are joining Alpine with your view than Wigan getting a point away at Arsenal is MORE likely than Saints getting anything from Sunderland or Stoke? I hope you are placing bets, you two are in for a fortune when this all happens. The bookies won't know what hit them! -

Again, answer my point... Why do you think Wigan getting a point away at Champions League chasing Arsenal is MORE likely than Saints getting something from Sunderland (without numerous key players) and a team with a terrible away record like Stoke? Wigan could well get a point at Arsenal, but to say it is more likely to happen than Saints getting points from games against bottom half teams like Sunderland and Stoke is bizarre. Can you really not understand why you might be ridiculed for such a viewpoint? -

You appear to think Wigan getting a point away at Arsenal is more likely than Saints getting something from an away game at Sunderland (without Sessegnon, Fletcher, Cattermole and Gardner) and a home game against Stoke (who are terrible away from home having only won 2 games and only scored 12 away goals). Can you not understand why people struggle to take such an opinion seriously? -

You think them drawing away at Arsenal is likely? They are 11/1 for a win and 17/4 to draw for a reason! It isn't very likely. -

Is what I said factually incorrect then? No, it isn't. Did you actually watch the Spurs vs Saints game? Do you think we deserved to lose? Did we play poorly? -

Southampton have picked up MORE points than Wigan over the last 8 games. Saints are 9th in the Premier League over the last 8 games. -

Saints form over the last 8 games has them 9th in the Premier League! -
We are 2 points away from 11th, 4 points away from 18th.

That doesn't even work as a trolling attempt, his loan finishes at the end of the Football League season. No need to "recall him". He'll be sold anyway.

Well if you use the table for a negative slant, why not the positive slant? As a newly promoted side with 2 games left Saints are only 2 points away from 11th (and play that team at home on last day of the season) and only 4 points away from 9th. As things stand tonight, Saints are as close to 9th as they are 18th in terms of points. It is, but not for the reasons you gave. -
Too right! Only an extreme pessimist would think otherwise.
-
As we are only 2 points away from 11th and play that team at home on the last day. Yes.
-
We could be safe before the Stoke game kicks off even if we lose or draw with Sunderland.
-
Danny Rose is also out of their final game away at Tottenham as he can't play against his parent club. If we draw on Saturday I can't see them overtaking us.
-
Just so you don't miss it... we are playing Sunderland next Sunday afternoon, not next Saturday.

He did say the line the Mirror used, but it was many weeks ago and he was only answering a question posed to him about that subject. To use it as a stick to beat him with when a newspaper weeks later uses it to hash together a story about a player like ART has is bizarre.
-
Did Pochettino write that article? No, it is using a quote of his answer to a question he was asked many weeks ago about the transfer market in Spain. You are using some very bizarre logic.
-
With 2 games left, we are only 4 points away from 9th. That isn't a huge amount Turkish, especially as we had a dreadful start to the season with 8 defeats, 1 draw, 1 win in the opening 10 games. Next season we won't need to adapt to the Premier League in the opening 10 games, that has already happened.

Why have you made this up?

Miss Hampshire 2013 Alice Stephanie Lazar, 20, from London Alice is currently studying performing arts. She is always keeping herself fit and is interested in the history of buildings. She entered because there is no Miss Surrey competition this year. .............. How odd.

Simple concepts still confusing Turkish.
