  1. What makes you think that?
  2. They changed it... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2334206/Cardiff-City-black-colour-change-criticism-following-kit-launch.html
  3. I hope Turkish isn't still trying to correspond with someone who has him on ignore and won't be viewing his posts or replying to him.
  4. No it isn't. A full away end of around 3,100 (an extra 1,300 or so fans) would make the total "circa 31,000", which is what I said. It was the 4th highest attendance in England yesterday! During the summer holidays, on a bank holiday for a game that won't attract much corporate interest. It really isn't as disappointing as you make out. Before yesterday every game in 2013 bar the Everton game (which came after popular Adkins was sacked) has sold out. So of course you have to look at other factors influencing the Sunderland attendance. In the grand scheme of things yesterdays attendance holds up well with all things considered and compared with other clubs.
  5. It was the 4th biggest attendance in England so far on this Bank Holiday weekend. If Sunderland had filled the away end it would have been circa 31,000.
  6. ? Why would you have Danny Fox or Matthew Targett (who hasn't even been training with the 1st team) on the bench over Calum Chambers?
  7. He appears 3 seconds into the video...
  8. Saints won't be lining up like this either... 01 K Davis 02 Clyne 03 Yoshida 06 Fonte 23 Shaw 04 Schneiderlin (S Davis - 59' ) 10 Ramirez 18 Cork 42 Puncheon (Guly - 80' ) 07 Lambert 24 Mayuka (De Ridder - 55' )
  9. Thats pretty much it yes, but only in classic mode and will also impact on your point score on leaderboards. Lots of people that like to cheat in computer games. Not me though. I have no idea.
  10. SI have never made a "real time editor" before FM14, the only one available before was 3rd party and was unstable. A real time editor allows you to alter your savegames whilst you are playing. SI will not be charging for the normal data editor that they have had in CM/FM for years.
  11. As its an official one it will be more stable.
  12. Ramirez has been linked in the press with moves to the likes of Atlético Madrid, Inter Milan and Borussia Dortmund, where as Puncheon joined Crystal Palace. Gaston Ramirez is a very good player. Inconsistent, yes. Frustrating at times, yes. But he is a lot better than Puncheon.
  13. International breaks apply in the Championship.
  14. If they were still selling season tickets this week with Sunderland and West Ham tickets on sale it would get very tricky. Many non season ticket seats have been sold for those two games already, which then restricts where you can sell season tickets in the stadium significantly. It is easier for them to close season ticket sales before any match tickets go on sale.
  15. Depends how you look at it. Saints have spent £36m this summer and you will have Wanyama, Lovren and Osvaldo in your squad. How much more do you suggest I give you to spend at the beginning of FM14 ontop of the £36m the squad has already benefitted from? If I give another £36m then you will get double the benefit, which isn't right. I do, and its a hard call to make.
  16. Deadline was over a month ago on 19th July. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/tickets/season-tickets/
  17. He wasn't a right back at the time the data was done, he converted from a midfielder during the season. He'll be able to play right back on FM14.
  18. Why would you train a right footed winger/striker to play left back? Do you really think he'd be happy playing out of position and second fiddle to an 18 year old? He scored 8 Premier League goals in 2011/12 for Swansea, whilst playing in his best position, earnt a big money move where he didn't play. He isn't now going to join us to be a sub for an unnatural position. If he comes, it'll be as an attacking midfielder and for games plus a large wage.
  19. The Polish manager disagrees with you over Szczęsny and Boruc. Boruc >>> Szczęsny
  20. The club can only name 25 senior players, plus it has one of the best youth academies in the country to draw upon for extra numbers.
  21. If Puncheon is only attracting loan offers from Palace, who would Guly Do Prado attract? It'll be Championship or abroad possibly back to Italy or Brazil. If someone did bid for Guly Do Prado I doubt the club would fight to keep hold of him. Neither Puncheon or Guly would play much this season and the club is looking to progress. To do that you sign better players than you have in the first XI and sell/loan/release players at the other end of the squad, promoting good youth prospects as you go. Flooding and bloating the first team squad with average/below average players is what Rupert Lowe did and it added in disaster.
  22. Of course you are likely to be your usual WUM self. But who knows... You think the team favourite to go down are Saints' rival this season? Puncheon won't be able to play against us and could potentially help Palace take points off those clubs that really are our rivals in mid table and higher this season.
  23. Yes, the three of them are better than Puncheon. Which is why they are playing for Saints and Puncheon appears to be signing for Palace who are likely going to struggle this season. Saints have now added Osvaldo, who moves Puncheon further down the pecking order for one of the front four positions. As I said earlier... Puncheon is fine to start for a bottom half Premier League team or be cover for a mid table team. But Saints have aspirations beyond that as they look to progress. If Puncheon wants to play regularly he is going to need to move, which is what he appears to be doing.
