Leeds only started wearing an all white kit in the 1960's because Don Revie wanted them to look like Real Madrid wannabes.
-
That simply isn't true. http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Southampton/Southampton.htm
-
That is Rodriguez, not Lallana.
-
Why only include your adult years? So as a child you would have grown up starting to love Saints and they didn't play in stripes. It was only as an adult that they started to again.
-
We didn't have a standard red and white striped kit for the entire 1980's. Which included the most successful period in the clubs league history.
-
There is a 28 page thread about it here... http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?37736-New-Kit

Have we "done a Cardiff"? Although as we were a red and white team anyway, a change to all red isn't quite as dramatic. Note Japan international Tadanari Lee as the key figure in the home shirt promotional photo...

I'm confused by option one in the vote... 1. Free tickets to local schools for League One games at Fratton Park in 2012/13. These would be distributed by our Football League award-winning charity arm, the Pompey Sports & Education Foundation. It means youngsters who may rarely get the chance to come to watch Pompey can do so for free. Seats will be in the Milton End and would be available from our home game against Oldham on September 1. So the club give out £30,000 worth of free tickets to kids to fill up some empty seats at Fratton Park, where does the £30,000 actually go? Back into the club's coffers? Surely that can't be right when the organisers said it can't be used to pay off debt. Also £30,000 equates to 3,000 kids tickets for that Oldham game, so watch out for them claiming how great their support is on 1st September.

An interesting read about Sports Interactive's spilt from Eidos/Championship Manager to move to SEGA and start Football Manager in 2004, something not discussed before for legal reasons... http://www.edge-online.com/news/miles-jacobson-comments-eidos-split Also the first bit of news about FM13... "Sports Interactive will unveil the latest iteration of Football Manager in the autumn, which Jacobson says will feature “less conservative” design than in the past." So Dune won't like it then! -

What do you mean? That makes no sense. -
How will they "validate" the votes on facebook? Yes, some Saints fans have clues in their profile pictures, but not all.

Half were in today for tests and half tomorrow. Youth team and development squad came back a week or so ago and many already have tests done. Training for the 1st team properly starts next week and they go to Champney's for a week like they did last year, before the Liebherr tournament on the 14th.

Simply being on the bench a few times does not make you the "Spurs no.2" keeper as you claimed... The lack of appearances on the bench indicates other keepers were ahead of him for the rest of the season. Robinson, Cerny and Alnwick were all ahead of him in the pecking order. Forecast was 4th choice, not 2nd.

Find me that season on this... http://www.footballsquads.co.uk/archive.htm Simply being on the bench a few times does not make you the "Spurs no.2" keeper.

They won't be allowed to register them.
-
No he wasn't.

And if they are downgraded they won't be allowed to do this. Chelsea were one of the main players forcing through EPPP. I'm sure they are more than happy with it and how it fits with their future strategy as they played a key role in writing it. Same applies to Arsenal.
-
If a club is downgraded what "actions" will it repeat in the future? There is a difference between classification and rules/rule enforcement.
