Why would he care about being seen as the "villain"? He could pull the plug and never be seen in the UK again. At the moment he isn't making personal appearances in the city and is sending his brother to meetings in the UK.
-
I'm confused then, because Portsmouth News sports reporter Neil Allen called me... @pn_neil_allen: @MatthewLeGod Consistently and embarrassingly ill-informed. Goodbye!

Is that not what the £20m+ PFA debt is for? If liquidated the PFA pay the players. So Ben Haim, Kanu etc may as well sit tight.
-
It is a news story on the BBC at the moment, which has raised awareness of the site so they can't cope with the demand.

"28 days later" is reshot in Plymouth for this video, needs to be done for Portsmouth...

£30k wouldn't go that far for a statue, the original Ted Bates statue cost £112k and look how that turned out.

hypochondriac pointing out double negatives! I'm no longer needed.

The Football League said... "Any decisions relating to Portsmouth’s previous CVA agreement and current administration will be considered by the Football League Board and any statement will be made in due course. We are not able to comment on anything further at this time." I'd guess if you asked them today, they will say wait until any CVA is formally completed in 28+ days time. There is still the potential of someone paying 100% of the debt in the next 28 days. Of course this won't happen, however the Football League can't hit them with a points deduction whilst that possibility remains open.
-
What if a team in League Two racks up £750,000 worth of debt and goes into admin, no points deduction? Or is you plan to hit them with further points ontop of the initial -10 deduction for entering admin? So Pompey would have been given -130 points in 2010, -60 points in 2012? At what point is the deduction applied? What about Saints in 2009? Legally they were never in admin and didn't require a CVA.

Given this... There won't be any adult matchday tickets at the prices you are willing to pay.

What a complete shambles our ticket office is!!
Matthew Le God replied to Saint_Donovan's topic in The Saints
I don't see the problem, they are right to take measures to ensure people claiming concession tickets deserve them. In the past they have been far too lax on things like this, now we have people complaining when they start doing what they should have always done. -
Good to see. Diluting a CVA with a further CVA is as bad as not agreeing a CVA back in 2010 and should rightly be punished with points deductions or refusing the golden share completely.
-
For those on this forum that think I never criticise the club... I think they have set the prices for this far too high.

The Blue Square Premier and Blue Square South are a long way from being the "bottom of the pile". If they have to start again it should be well below the 5th or 6th tier.

At least two people in the last few days have given anecdotal evidence of Saints fans after Premier League relegation starting to go to Pompey Premier League games. The same is likely to happen in reverse now the pendulum has swung Southampton's way. It is extremely likely that is only the tip of an iceberg, of course it won't be huge numbers, but as Golden Balls says, 1 person or 10,000 people - it is still increased home support. -
I'd imagine that is a subject you should avoid... http://www.independent.ie/unsorted/features/my-nightmare-all-a-mis-take-514788.html

Summer 2012 HCDAJFU Thread - Premier League Special Edition
Matthew Le God replied to Jimmy_D's topic in The Saints
Why 1st July? He is in contract that goes beyond June 2012 at the moment isn't he (as suggested by the price)? So can be sold now. -
It doesn't say "pricing us out of a move", it says that Saints think it will put the price up. Two different things.
-
He has the cheek to call me "embarrassingly ill-informed" and churns out nonsense stories every day in the paper. I've read every post on this thread, I'm about as informed on this subject as you can get!
