  1. Loan window closed in March. In any case, Rodriguez is out injured for the rest of the season.
  2. You forgot Tadanari Lee. Plus Cortese/Liebherr's are looking for much more than merely surviving in the Premier League.
  3. And so it starts again... http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/transfer-news/Transfer-gossip-Newcastle-and-Southampton-on-alert-for-Burnley-star-Jay-Rodriguez-article886732.html
  4. You can hazard a guess such an important subject like this for the club which was covered on a BBC website article would have received coverage almost instantaneously on this forum. The BBC is hardly an obscure source. The article is now 6 days old.
  5. The Mirror article say it is regardless of which division we are in.
  6. Nope, Ward-Prowse played and scored for the under 18's in a 4-1 win. Jake Sinclair with a hattrick. Gallagher played and scored a hattrick for the under 16's in a 4-1 win. The under 16's and under 18's both played and beat Ipswich by the same scoreline this afternoon.
  7. Yes. Gallagher got a hattrick for the under 16's in a 4-1 win, the under 18's also won 4-1 with Jake Sinclair getting a hattrick. The under 18's are now top of Premier League Academy Group A, with one game to go for them, Fulham are two point behind with a game in hand on Saints.
  8. It has very little to do with the Football Association. It is the Football League.
  9. - Late Kick Off's Graeme Murty is an employee of the club, quite a good source for confirming such stories - The Japanese media has reported it http://headlines.yahoo.co.jp/hl?a=20120401-00000012-spnannex-socc - BBC Radio Solent, BBC Website and BBC South Today all know and they have good links at the club given they are at Staplewood every week doing interviews with players and staff It's true. In any case, we have a thread for it... http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?36867-Lee-out-for-4-6-months-according-to-Japanese-press
  10. And yet many Saints fans complain at Arsenal/Spurs etc taking Saints players... Football is a dog eat dog world. Every team at every level picks youngsters from those below them. Saints are no different. In fact we wouldn't have had Lallana, Bale, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Walcott etc etc if they didn't.
  11. Saints Charlie had a very good memory in that he recalled that I started a thread about Gallagher in December 2011.
  12. Beat you to it by 4 months CWD! http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?34280-Sam-Gallagher-Plymouth-Argyle-youth-player-to-sign-for-Saints That isn't the first thread.
  13. I'm 4 months ahead of trousers!
  14. West Ham won't win all 6 games. They have some tricky games... Barnsley A Birmingham H Brighton H Bristol City A Leicester A Hull H They will drop points and the points required for Saints to guarantee promotion will drop below 13.
  15. Mathematically it is 13 points required to guarantee it. The goal difference advantage will just make it very likely that 12 would do.
  16. It has taken 4 months to actually happen, but I was "in the know" in the end.
  17. If promoted to the Premier League, I can see Saints going for Gary Hooper again in the Summer. Five striker options for 2012/13... Lambert Sharp Hooper Guly Do Prado Tadanari Lee Connolly is out of contract in the summer and the club may not renew. Barnard would be on the fringes and might also leave.
  18. From Official Blackpool FC Twitter... Blackpool FC ‏ @BFC1887 Reply Retweet Favorite · Open Southampton have taken the interesting step of placing a Saints mat outside of the away dressing room. Making themselves right at home. I'm now intrigued as to why they have done it.
  19. Well you have to understand getting that bit wrong may have raised doubts in people's minds.
  20. He hasn't (as of yet) been confirmed as out for the season. Regardless of that, the opening poster still wasn't correct in all he said. For example saying the squad travelled to Blackpool today by plane.
  21. I'd quite like Forest to remain in the relegation scrap as they play Pompey at the City Ground on the last day of the season.
  22. In the same way you claimed the squad travelled to Blackpool today was a fact? When they actually travelled on Friday. Every post you have made in this thread is full of holes.
  23. You still haven't explained the logic behind a man having an operation booked on Friday, to then train with a professional sports team the day before. Lambert was in training on Thursday. If he knew he was out for the rest of the season, he wouldn't be training the day before an operation. It would be pointless and potentially make the injury even worse. He would be resting in preparation for the operation. I'm intrigued as to how you will explain away that!
  24. The squad didn't travel today, your source is lying. They flew to Manchester on Friday, as confirmed by players on Twitter. Your source is lying!
