Summer 2012 HCDAJFU Thread - Premier League Special Edition

I've always been impressed with Adomah, he caused Saints defence lots of trouble when we played Bristol City. -
Because they struggle to sell out Loftus Road, which is under 20k.
-
Not if you struggle to fill it and it becomes a white elephant. A white elephant for white city, seems appropriate.
-
It is apparently not £5m, but £2m. Which seems more realistic given his age.
-
Not to the new company it wouldn't.
-
Green stated in the media that he would take legal action against players that sign for other clubs. He doesn't have a leg to stand on legally. Coventry have huge money issues of their own and their owners were so scared of the possibility of legal action they came to an agreement with Rangers. There really was no need, I very much doubt Everton and Saints have done the same as SISU at Coventry. Coventry merely covering their backs, Saints and Everton won't be worried, legal action won't happen, Davis, Naismith etc are free to sign for whoever they want.
-
Why is it "underhand"? The Rangers he was contracted to n longer legally exist, so he wasn't under any obligation to sign for the new company which may end up in Scottish tier 4.
-
Because he wasn't contracted to a club.
-
Care to enlighten us with it?
-
Completely relevant in this case, as it shows my view of the player he is claiming I made statements about.
-
I like how they used "snapped up" as if it was getting one over on Saints. When in reality he wasn't deemed good enough by Saints when he was 12 and was released.
-
Corporate sponsored vandalism!
-
Did I? Think you have just made that up. You can see from how he is rated on Football Manager that I don't consider him to be that great in terms of Premier League level. He'd do okay, but has a lot of flaws to his game which will see him exposed at Premier League level.
-
He is a bit. Very one footed, has little pace and his positioning at times is appalling.
-
It looked like Sharp was behind Tadanari Lee in the pecking order until Tadanari Lee's injury.
-
If you take squad selection, team selection and tactics for the finals this summer in isolation he looks clueless. Yes, I know he was successful in the past, but he is no longer the Dutch manager for a reason.
-
I didn't say he was on a level with Taylor, just that you can't judge Buttner on the views of one international manager who has now quit due to mistakes he made this summer.
-
Ask Bert van Marwijk, the clueless (now former) manager of the Netherlands. Le Tissier didn't get many England caps, doesn't mean he was bad, just that the likes of Graham Taylor didn't pick him.
-
Yep, Neville's ability as a pundit has come as a shock to everyone.
-
The two keepers for the under 18's in 2012/13 (Will Britt and Chris Johns) are 2nd year scholars.
-
Dan Harding and Ryan Dickson to leave. Buttner and Fox to compete for left back, with 16 year old Shaw to bring through in future years. I doubt Hammond's position in the squad is effected too much by Buttner signing.
-
Why does signing a left back/left midfielder mean a central midfielder will be off? If anyone's place in the Saints 25 man squad is under threat, it will be Dan Harding.

He has hosted Saints end of season awards for the last two years, I'd imagine he has some good contacts at the club.
