Are you going tonight? If so wear a Saints shirt, cameras are bound to pick you out of the crowd. -

Nigel Pearson was a 1st team coach at Newcastle under Fat Sam. Still friends...? Conversely, he would know Davis, Bialkowski and Lallana from his time at Saints. Cancelled out, crisis averted! -
The onus isn't on me, I wasn't the one saying Hooper turned Saints down. As CB Fry says above, there is no evidence Celtic accepted a bid for Hooper to turn down. There was definitely interest and bids from Saints, Adkins confirmed it publicly, as did Neil Lennon.
-
Can you provide any evidence Hooper "turned us down"?

Exceedingly good poetry

It was a sensible decision to have Bialkowski on the bench. I still don't understand why Adkins moved away from this over the last two months. It isn't difficult to give enough options from the bench with four outfield players. One centre back, one defensive midfielder or full back, two attacking players (wingers, central midfielders or strikers).
-
Why do you think De Ridder isn't available? Adkins made the sensible decision yesterday of putting a keeper on the bench. There is no "situation with Puncheon", Saints have a large squad and can only name 16 players in a matchday squad so of course players are going to miss out.

You have 9,632 post on here having been on these forums a year less!

I only post on the Sports Interactive forums, footballforums.net, not606 and Saints Web. For all four I use the name Matthew Le God.

Nope, you have just made that up, I said no such thing. If you think I did please provide a link.

They have enough money to see them through until the end of May, largely due to the loan fees (and saving of wages) they received for Huseklupp, Lawrence, Henderson and Mullins. On 2nd June they will have to prove at the Football League AGM that they can fund the 2012/13 season, if not they won't be allowed to play in League One.
-
If they didn't win their season was over, if Saints didn't win their season still continues. It was a game in their own city. Not a 600 mile round trip away and a 5:20pm kickoff. 2,992 is a very good turnout.
-
2,922 fans a "lack of support"? Did you see how empty the home sections were? If either side was going to be affected by lack of support it would have been Middlesbrough, especially considering they still had something to play for and weren't facing a 600 mile round trip.

Tal Ben Haim is going to be the highest earning 3rd tier player ever in the history of world sport with his £36k p/w wages.

It was never going to be a straight red due to the covering defender, however it is one of the clearest yellow cards you will ever see. How he didn't get a second yellow I don't know. A game changing moment from the ref.

One game will be on Sky, the other on the BBC.

Like all good drama, it goes to the final day.
Matthew Le God replied to Colinjb's topic in The Saints
Reasonable chance it might not reach the final day if Leicester can get a draw or win on Monday at the King Power Stadium. -
More dangerous not to have a keeper on the bench.
-
They will have to pay Ben Haim £36k p/w week if they are still going in League One, which is even funnier.
