  1. I poked him too hard and he blocked me.
  2. I still don't think -10 points is enough considering they have effectively wiped out over £100m worth of debt by diluting it with a new CVA.
  3. Steven Davis is British and came through Aston Villa's academy system, he was affiliated to them for more than 36 months prior to his 21st Birthday so he is home grown.
  4. All we have is a couple of dogs!
  5. Aaron Mokoena officially released on a "compromise agreement over money outstanding"... http://www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/LatestNews/news/Mokoena-Agrees-Fratton-Exit-3520.aspx So a Football Creditor not paid in full and railroaded into a reduced deal!
  6. A number of Rangers fans are still going to St Mary's on Saturday. I don't think they'll give Davis a good reception if he does play!
  7. Electronic advertising boards being installed today...
  8. It is possible to have more than one deal on the go at the same time.
  9. But in actual numbers it is far smaller, so why does % in relation to home gates matter? Saints have often been restricted by away allocations, had it been unlimited the % compared to home gates would be higher.
  10. So with which teams are you comparing Saints away support with to say it is "poor"?
  11. Hardly comparable. What Claus is saying occurred was done for personal financial gain at the detriment of the club's performance on the pitch. Pompey have been cheating for the club's benefit, it led to an FA Cup win and 7 years of top flight football.
  12. Clyne is out of contract, but as he is under 24 years old Crystal Palace have to be compensated. That can either be sorted out between the clubs or taken to a tribunal - like with Saints, Oscar Gobern and Huddersfield.
  13. I think that is doing him a disservice, in a loan spell at the end of the season he played an important part in getting Sheff Weds promoted. He also had some good games for us in 2009/10 as a 19/20 year old.
  14. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2172099/FIFA-investigate-Claus-Lundekvam-claims-Premier-League-betting-scam.html#ixzz20M6BY8Ps
  15. I was just trying to help, not having a go at you.
  16. No he isn't. Nixon is talking about a central midfielder... "Centre. Unlike any player u have. Big, strong boy." That really doesn't match Buttner.

  18. Charlie Wayman still doesn't know the name of our goalkeeper, despite him being at the club for 6 years.
  19. His newspaper is already making jobcuts. If Portsmouth's only professional football club goes under, then cuts will be probably be made on the already large sports desk. He probably thinks it is in his interest to be Portsmouth's version of this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W9aW1atFLMM
  20. Which is what I said, so 20% is taken up by away fans and the non season ticket seats. That is over 6,500+ seats in a 32.6k stadium. Other factors like segregation, corporate and possibly wanting to allow more than the 10% to be non season tickets, will mean the limit Saints put on ST numbers is lowered.
  21. That is what I was asking for clarification on. So the 25k your benchmark. It is possible the club may restrict itself from selling as many as 25k season tickets in a 32k stadium. Away fans (taking into consideration some blocks will be away fan blocks for cup games), segregation, corporate and allowing a reasonable number open for general sale (I believe the % for this is in the league rules) all eat into the 32k capacity.
  22. I think it was you (or maybe Kraken or Sour Mash) that said 24k in the past. Moving the goalposts? Are you saying the Lowe era levels were 25k and that is what needs to be beaten, or beat the 25k mark? Wasn't it circa 22k under Lowe? Which is very close to what we have now, with 3 weeks left to sell more.
  23. The Sunday People on 8th July reported Saints had made a £5m bid for right back Naughton. It now "seems" like Villas-Boas wants to look at Naughton in pre-season before deciding to let him come to Saints or not. Naughton had a good spell last season as a regular on loan at mid table Norwich City. 11th July in The Mirror... http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/tottenham-close-in-on-joao-moutinho-to-leave-1138386
