The Blue Square Premier and Blue Square South are a long way from being the "bottom of the pile". If they have to start again it should be well below the 5th or 6th tier.

At least two people in the last few days have given anecdotal evidence of Saints fans after Premier League relegation starting to go to Pompey Premier League games. The same is likely to happen in reverse now the pendulum has swung Southampton's way. It is extremely likely that is only the tip of an iceberg, of course it won't be huge numbers, but as Golden Balls says, 1 person or 10,000 people - it is still increased home support.

It doesn't say "pricing us out of a move", it says that Saints think it will put the price up. Two different things.

Jake Sinclair came through the Bath satellite academy. There are loads of them, it has been very productive and helped Saints get round the 90 minute rule for academies (which will be going this summer).

The Bath "satellite academy" is how we got Gareth Bale, amongst numerous others from south Wales and the South West of England.

It is a shift of sorts. If you had a family ticket in one of the blocks that is no longer the family section, then you are forced to move to keep a family ticket.

The whole area of "bigger clubs" is subjective and makes it especially hard to determine the closer the sides are. Hence why it is easier to distinguish the bigger between Man Utd and Darlington, compared to Everton and Saints. In terms of population, it isn't simply a case of looking at the population of Liverpool and saying in a "top trumps style" that they beat Southampton. Nottingham is a bigger city than Southampton, yet would you claim Notts County are bigger than Saints? Also you at least appear to assume (given you awarded a point for each factor), that all factors should be given equal weighting when determining "who is the bigger". I'd argue that some factors play more significance than others.
