  1. Yeah, that'll do.
  2. It hasn't happened (yet at least). Steve De Ridder is a completely different player to the one Sir Woody was talking about...
  3. His squad number at De Graafschap was 11, before a conspiracy with Chamberlain starts he will be number 33 at Saints.
  4. The Daily Mail thinks he is "furious" at being fined for a rule break. No journalist has the balls to put his name to the article though... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2017422/Arsenal-target-Alex-Oxlade-Chamberlain-fined-Southampton.html Quite why he would be "furious" I don't know, it would only be done if it were a breach of his terms of employment. He doesn't really have a leg to stand on (if true).

  6. He has been training with Saints since the start of July, went to Leicestershire and Switzerland with the team and played against St Gallen in a friendly on Saturday.
  7. Same story but from 18th July... http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?hl=en&prev=/search%3Fq%3DAmmar%2BJemal%2Bsouthampton%26hl%3Den%26client%3Dsafari%26rls%3Den%26biw%3D1184%26bih%3D809%26prmd%3Divnso&rurl=translate.google.com&sl=fr&u=http://actualite-tunisie.com/a-la-une/national/72711-actualites-r-sport-news--ammar-jemal-tres-proche-de-southampton&usg=ALkJrhg1k3Ck-CdcSmyI3lcew5sgC6yHNA The one in the opening post is a rehash of an old story then.
  8. I didn't need to do any massaging Nick. You said he wasn't "prolific at League One level", I showed you he has a very good record. It looks even better when you factor in that he played for a poor Southend United team, had a hernia operation, hand injury, ankle injury, court case and kept being subbed by Saints around 60/70 minutes in games or coming on for the last 20/30 minutes only. His goal per minutes on pitch ratio is impressive. He is much more than just a hard worker.
  9. I mentioned the version number because the data changes. I'm honoured!
  10. Southend United = League One 65 starts, 15 sub appearances, 35 goals Southampton = League One 28 starts, 18 sub appearances, 23 goals In total, 58 goals in 93 League One starts, for a player you said was "hardly prolific at League One level". I think that is a very good record tbh. I agree. I don't think you are watching the same player either! He is the blonde forward, had a bandage on his arm for a long time and wears number 9.
  11. 38 League One goals in two seasons is prolific though isn't it? Especially when you factor in some of the injuries he had, reduced game time (being a sub/being subbed) and a court case hanging over him.
  12. Really? He scored 24 League One goals in 2009/10. He scored 14 League One goals in 2010/11, in a season hampered by a hernia operation, an ankle injury and a court case. He was also often subbed or came on as a sub reducing game time to score goals.
  13. I was asked a question, so I answered it.
  14. What are you laughing at Mr Glasgow?
  15. He is talking about Jack Stephens. The young defender signed recently from Plymouth Argyle. Not, Dale Stephens, the player that was on loan from Oldham Athletic last season.
  16. Seven subs is only a relatively recent thing in the Football League in the last few years. The vast majority of teams named a sub keeper when it was five subs before the change. It should just return to how it was done before.
  17. 120 and 118 respectively.
  18. Forte is English to all extents and purposes. Born and raised in England and played all his football at English club. Just playing for Barbados because he has no chance with England and one or more of his parents/grandparents is a Barbadian. He has spent at least 3 years at an English (or Welsh in the English league system) club before the age of 21 coming through at Rotherham and Sheffield United's academy and thus qualifies as "home grown".
  19. 120 is the top of the guidelines for League One players (although they are flexible). The two players above him (with ratings just over the top of the League One guidelines) were Guly do Prado (as rated by the Cesena researcher) and Joe Lewis, who probably does need to come down. He hasn't proved that (yet), thus can't be rated as such.
  20. Anyway... Back to Ammar Jamal, what we need is some embedded Youtube highlight videos.
  21. A current ability of 120 in League One is extremely good. Made him the joint 3rd best player in League One in FM version 11.3
  22. Yes, the 120 and 118 are current ability for Lallana and Fonte. Their potential is a higher figure, Lallana's a lot higher.
  23. For the last data update of FM11... Current ability 119 out of 200 Potential ability 140 out of 200 Which is very good for Championship level. For example, Lallana was 120 and Fonte 118.
  24. Translation... Tunisian international defender Ammar Jemal, who plays for Young Boys Berne (Switzerland D1) is at hand to engage with the English club Southampton, just to get into Championship (second division English). This season, the former Etoile du Sahel played 39 games in the jersey of the club of the Swiss capital. Ammar Jemal only has to pass the traditional series of medical examinations before wearing the jersey of the Saints, and become the teammate of Radhi Jaidi.
  25. Would be standard for the contract to be made null and void if that happened.
