Undersoil heating doesn't provide the light grass requires in the winter months for long periods in order to photosynthesise. This new lighting system does.

Cox and Saints aren't mentioned in that article.

Jack Stephens, Luke Shaw, James Ward-Prowse and a number of other players didn't play in that game some on international duty, others played recently for the under 21's and were rested. So a few under 16's played against Pompey and fringe players from the 22 scholars Saints have. It was far from the best Saints XI so Pompey can't gloat too much. Gape only came on as a late sub btw. Steve Mowthorpe, Matt Young, Jordan Turnbull, Bevis Mugabi, Conor O'Sullivan (Dominic Gape 78 ), Daniel Bowman (Aaron Ward-Baptiste 65), Harrison Reed, Jason McCarthy, Gregory Ariybi (Omar Rowe 55), Joe Curtis, Jake Sinclair

There is a Football League meeting on Thursday 8th December and the issue of a possible points deduction is on the agenda.
-
No chance it will be live on TV. If it were at Fratton Park, perhaps. But there are plenty of more appealing games and at Stamford Bridge it is a home banker.

Today shows why we should have signed James Beattie
Matthew Le God replied to Paul Chuckle's topic in The Saints
Hopefully for your sake you are on a wind up. But in case you aren't... - 17th in a league of 24 isn't midtable. - 17th in the Championship in 2010/11 had 56 points from 46 games. Saints currently have 42 points from 20 games. Do you really think Saints will only pick up 14 points from the remaining 26 games? That would be something like Play 26 Win 3 Draw 5 Lose 18 -
The best thing about most of these suggestions is that there is very little they can come back at us with. Apart from calling us "scummers", what can they do that is witty towards a club that is financially secure and top of the league?

Adkins said on Tuesday after the game that Fox had a pelvis injury.

Mark Fry was confident Saints had a good chance of avoiding a points deduction and look what happened. He also thought Saints had a good chance in an appeal.

Hooiveld deal to be "wrapped up" tonight
Matthew Le God replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
He does that every game. -
Hardly! He has been owned by just two clubs (Bournemouth and Wolves). He only recently turned 22, it is not unusual to be loaned out to a number of clubs to gain experience.

What can Sunderland offer Adkins that he can't do at Saints in the next few years?
-
He has already stated he is retiring at the end of the season.

This lot... http://www.converssport.com/companies Largely all very recent acquisitions, and possibly all funded using the "alleged" stolen cash from the Lithuanian and Latvian banks in order to clean it.

Andrew Andronikou says the club only has funds "until the turn of the new year". http://audioboo.fm/boos/567341 So a month and ticking... Although to me he doesn't sound overly confident the Football League won't impose penalties even though he says he is early on in the interview. Mark Fry when appointed Saints administrator in 2009 was confident they wouldn't be deducted points.

You say "prudent", but overlook the amount of money shown in the accounts Liebherr put in during the first season. Rupert Lowe didn't put any money of note in, nor did he spend on Staplewood anywhere near the amount the club are currently spending.
-
1) Did Saints need to spend more than Leicester this summer? We are 13 points ahead of them so the squad already built was clearly good enough and just needed a little extra. 2) Did Rupert Lowe invest £20.4m of his own money into the club at any point? The Liebherr's did in 2009/10, future accounts will show if any more has gone in. 3) Did Rupert Lowe fund a training ground and academy development that wouldn't look out of place at a current top 6 Premier League side?

You make this too easy...! The last time we played Bolton Wanderers in midweek, at St Mary's, in the Premier League it was a sell out... Wednesday 25th August 2004 vs Bolton 30,713 The empty seats due to Bolton bringing a small number of fans from Lancashire on a week night, the home end was sold out. Plus that was the year Saints came 20th in the league and were relegated, so were hardly a crowd puller in their own right.

It'll be a diamond midfield, like Adkins has used throughout the season. Cork and Hammond will be relatively narrow and the full backs will provide the width. Davis Richardson Fonte Hooiveld Harding Schneiderlin Cork Hammond Lallana Lambert Guly

No they didn't, because that would be insane. Southampton Leisure Holdings was set up 7 years before the Football League's insolvency rules were implemented.
