Why do people ask this every week? Sign up to Saints Player.
-
Nope, that is the far right.
-
Because Forecast isn't at Eastborne anymore and Shea has gone back to Arsenal.
-
Or you could use twitter, as that is where he copied and pasted them from.
-
I bet they change to the 41212 formation at some point. Or bring Chamberlain on for the normal 442 in the second half.
-
It will be the narrow midfield diamond 41212 formation that we have been using as an alternative to 442. Lallana will be behind the strikers. Schneiderlin or Hammond sitting in front of the back four with Schneiderlin/Hammond and Chaplow in front. The strikers and full backs provide the width.
-
Because Saints have a bigger squad than just 11 players.
-
Pointless calling any of the remaining fixtures our "game in hand". They all matter as much as each other and it doesn't really matter what order the next 16 games are played in.
-
South Coast derby tonight for the under 18's as they face Pompey - Staplewood at 7pm.

Why not? http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?28555-Will-we-make-the-playoffs&p=978182#post978182

Must have been on the BBC's Late Kick Off which will be on iplayer soon.

Read the opening paragraph.... Also a gap of 2 and 3 points is nothing. Especially as Saints had nothing to play for at the end of the season like Millwall and Leeds did. Nor did they have the entire squad rebuilt from August 2009 to January 2010, like Saints did. Nor did they have a 10 point deduction hanging round their necks decreasing prospects for the season.
-
I can't see him displacing Butterfield or Richardson. Probably training with Saints until he gets a contract elsewhere.
-
Nonsense. The Saints team in August 2009 is unrecognisable to the team that beat Norwich and Leeds after the January 2010 transfer window had closed. The Leeds and Norwich teams didn't evolve any where near as much as Saints did from the beginning to the end of last season. The Saints squad at the end of the 2009/10 was stronger than both Leeds and Norwich as shown in the two games after all three sides had finished player purchases for 2009/10. In any case... Saints in 2009/10 earnt 83 points Millwall in 2009/10 earnt 85 points Leeds in 2009/10 earnt 86 points ...hardly huge gaps!

The Saints player photos/kits/club badge are already on FM11, no need to download them. You can use http://www.fm-base.co.uk to get other unlicensed graphics, like the Premier League player photos/club badges/kits etc. The Football League, along with many other world leagues has licensed graphics and are in FM11, some like the English Premier League are not licensed for SEGA to use as EA Sports has the exclusive rights. There have been two main patches so far for FM11, 11.3 will be out in the next week or so. 11.3 will contain up to date data, e.g. Jonathan Forte, Dany N'Guessan etc at Saints.
-
Most Premier League clubs and quite a few Championship clubs. Saints have fallen a long way behind, hence the need for the new development.
-
It is http://www.fm-base.co.uk
-
It is down to the licensed clubs to send in the photos. Southampton Football Club didn't send SEGA the player photos for FM10. They did for FM11, I haven't added them myself.

Well he has been on the Saints bench a number of times this season, a mainstay in the the reserves and youth teams for years and even called up to the full Wales squad recently. But then I probably follow Saints a little too obsessively!
-
Some people in this thread are overestimating the Championship. It really isn't that great... - Saints 3rd choice left back Joseph Mills is playing on loan for a mid table Championship side. - Saints "rejects" Wayne Thomas and Simon Gillet are playing for a mid table Championship side. - Saints 3rd choice winger Jason Puncheon is on loan in the Premier League. - Leeds and Norwich have very similar squads to those of their League One promotion campaigns and are both in the Championship playoff places. Millwall not too far behind. Forte - has played 120 games at Championship level! Hammond - has played 88 games at Championship level! Harding - Has played 91 games at Championship level! Butterfield - Has played 356 games at Championship level! 7 in the Premier League. Richardson - Has played 96 games at Championship level! 4 in the Premier League. Chaplow - Has played 177 games at Championship level! 11 in the Premier League. Holmes - Has played 58 games at Championship level! Lallana - Has played 46 games at Championship level! Schneiderlin - Has played 30 games at Championship level! Fonte - Has played 88 games at Championship level! Plus 37 in the Portuguese top flight! Bialkowski - Has played 17 games at Championship level! Davis - Has played 350 games at Championship level! Plus 33 in the Premier League. Jaidi - Has played 68 games at Championship level! Plus 61 in the Premier League. Connolly - Has played 232 games at Championship level! Plus 22 in the Premier League. Mills - Has played 20 games at Championship level. Puncheon - Has played 21 games at Championship level! Plus 2 in the Premier League. Barnard - Has played 3 games at Premier League level! Dickson - has played 5 games at Championship level! ...all have good experience of the Championship or higher. Admittedly Connolly, Holmes and Jaidi may well be released at the end of season. Chamberlain is clearly capable of Championship level, as would Lambert and a number of others. Guly was a key player for a Serie B promotion winning side.

Injured.
-
Why does that worry you?
-
If a football hits you in the head at force and jars you head back, I don't see why it couldn't leave you concussed. Last few games he has been injured. Also the squad has got bigger recently (N'Guessan and Forte) which may push him down the pecking order to get in the match 18. Against Swindon, Saints had a squad that meant they could have a strong seven man bench and still leave no room for Seaborne, Forte, Dickson, Connolly, Bialkowski, Puncheon and Mills etc. All of those would get in the majority of starting XI's in this league.
-
You find most national radio/TV commentators are clueless. So someone doing 2 minute website highlights viewed often by a handful of fans for Football League club games, for teams they don't support or follow aren't going to be great in general.
-
He was injured, as Adkins said in interview the ball smacked Ryan in the head and was treated for concussion. Also, Saints squad has so much depth for this level, we don't necessarily need him on the bench.
