  1. Now this would make an interesting caption competition...
  2. For best results you should start a new game when 11.3 comes out, but it will definitely work with old saves.
  3. The patch (bug fixes) is compatible and will work with old save games. The data update isn't, as that would be impossible. You will have to start a new game to have Forte, N'Guessan etc at Saints.
  4. Yes, it will.
  5. Tonight could have been a lot worse! Bournemouth missed a penalty in their game. Saints ended up not losing any ground, still have 3 games in hand and have to play them.
  6. Huddersfield, Peterborough and Bournemouth all draw tonight, so we didn't lose any ground on them. Plus have games in hand to overtake them all.
  7. The 11.3 patch "should" be out next week.
  8. Yes, on Saints Player.
  9. Standing water in the goalmouths...
  10. Well, Saints for the first time in their 125 year history have owners with both ambition and resources . Cortese wants Champions League football at St Mary's and that would certainly bring in the crowds. Saints have had >30k crowds for games in League One and the Championship, so you would easily be able to get over 40k for games against Man Utd, Arsenal, Man City, Liverpool, Spurs and Chelsea in the Premier League. Games against teams like Everton, Aston Villa, Sunderland, Newcastle etc would also see large crowds and large numbers of away fans.
  11. Southampton's fanbase is spread a lot further than just the city and surrounding settlements. Also a larger St Mary's means larger away fan allocations in the Premier League, boosting the attendance even further. The club has done research which suggest it can support 45k averages in the Premier League, which would also mean that some games would get more than 45k.
  12. Roger has only listed six subs.
  13. Why do you have duplicates?
  14. Saints have done well against Chelsea over the last few years... 2008/09 Away 2009/10 Away Home 2010/11 Away Home Video of yesterdays game will be available soon.

  16. - Saints have 2 games in hand - A mere 1 point behind - A superior goal difference of +16 goals
  17. I "almost" believe you are being sincere.
  18. They are still top of the league! A league which contains such illustrious academies as Arsenal, Chelsea and West Ham - plus Pompey are bottom
  19. Saints under 18's beat Chelsea 3-1 this morning and remain top of the league.
  20. Not even the Charlton game?
  21. Why? He was tugging Chamberlain's shirt as Alex was beating him for pace and about to break down the wing in a promising attack for Saints and then hurled abuse at the referee's assistant. He deserved everything he got.
  22. In the past the club has done early bird deals so it gets the money in early to help over the last few months of the season and into the summer. It would have balanced the need for this against the discounted prices and deemed it worthwhile doing so. However, now with the club more financially secure than ever before in its history it may not need to do early bird scheme in March and can instead put season tickets on sale later in the summer without discounting as much in order to maximise revenue. Can blame them really as it makes sense as a business for them to do this.
  23. He is worth whatever the market dictates, if lots of big clubs are interested then his price is increased in a bidding war. Also Saints not needing the money drives the price up even more. He is worth a lot more than £5m taking that into account. Alex may have 15 years as a top professional ahead of him. That is worth a hell of a lot more than £5m or £10m. You don't get into the England under 21's aged 17 and have Arsene Wenger, Damien Comolli, Alex Ferguson and the technical director at English FA all praising you for no reason!
  24. So he has been "overrated" by scouts, coaching staff and management of a number of the top teams in world football along with the England under 21's, aged only 17. I think these people have a better idea than any of us.
  25. Why sell him when there is no financial need for the club to sell and if you do sell why at £5m when you could easily get more with so many top clubs interested and Alex has 15 years of top football ahead of him?
