  1. Nothing on tonight, it's all repeats.
  2. Is this an anagram? Think I've solved one bit of it.
  3. Why would they want a cheap copy when they already have the real thing?
  4. On those fixtures Puel will surely have massively under-achieved/lost the dressing room/over-rotated if we don't secure 8th? Back on planet earth it will be massively disappointing if we finish below West Ham. (West Ham to beat L'pool and Burnley and us to pick up less than 6 points is worth a cheeky fiver of someone else's money).
  5. Number 3. VVD? Romeu? Gabi?
  6. Surely you will need Flowers for a wedding?
  7. Shocking stat, what price would you have got on that at the start of the season?
  8. Bit early for that, pop back in early March 2018 and you might have yourself a deal.
  9. Zola's available.
  10. TBF I think most teams in the country would look small against Chelsea. Their side is packed with big athletes, it has been for years.
  11. Unfortunately we are neither fish nor fowl. We played some lovely stuff tonight, particularly first half, but we are way too easy to play against/score against. To go to Chelsea and play 4-3-3 and hope to score more than them is a big ask, but it made for an entertaining watch. If we put in 38 of those performances a season then there is no way we would threaten the top 6/7 and no way we would go down, the table doesn't lie, Chelsea are top for a reason and we are where we are. If we do Hull by 3 or 4 all will be forgiven (we probably will, I can't go which usually equals a decent result).
  12. This is one of the disappointments of the season for me. J Rod's dad needs to get over himself, get his son a gig at a mid-table Championship side and we can all move on.
  13. Make-weight for Heaton would be nice.
  14. Yes, very happy with Yoshida as our 'number 2' centre back, and would be equally delighted if he ends up as number 3. If we could 'buy' another 30 goals from somewhere and strengthen the midfield it wouldn't be the end of the world if we ended up with Yoshida and Stephens playing regularly.
  15. You can fool all of the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you can't fool all the people all the time. Good to see the saintly Nige now admitting it's all 'a massive con'.
  16. Any chance we could see the red lines before we vote?
  17. #notsureifserious You 'do' realise that in a Grammar school system around 75% of kids go to a Secondary Modern school?
  18. You'd have to think there's more than 'someone' who is going to be disappointed. c45% will vote for Tory/UKIP/other right wing parties, and that vote covers all of the spectrum from hard to soft Brexit (which is huge) notwithstanding a significant minority of Tory voters who are remainers any way. Rather more will vote for Lab/Lib/SNP/Green and other left wing parties, the majority of these will be remainers (but with a significant minority of leavers). For an added bonus ball we won't actually get to see what we're voting 'for' for another two years. My money says the majority will ultimately be disappointed and only a minority will get what they actually want.
  19. That's a strange take, presumably then they've factored in Corbyn resigning and him being replaced by a half-competent 'new' caretaker manager, and that they could still win with some to spare? Would have thought Corbyn was the Tories nailed-on win card; take Corbyn out of the equation and they might just find they are nowhere near as popular/omnipresent as they believe themselves to be.
  20. Confused.com 1+1 has gone from £39 to £37? Bloody maths teachers;)
  21. Redknapp takes over at Birmingham (!), proper football club and all that innit?
  22. Yep, need 50 soft Tory seats to go Lib Dem to force the Tories into a minority. Reckon they might get 30+ but it won't be enough. FPTP is the Tories winning card here, LAB/LIB/GREEN will take well over 50% of the popular vote between them and the Tories will rule indefinitely on less than 40% of the vote. nd
  23. Away section at Chelsea was about half-full for the mid week game when Puncheon scored a screamer (Adkin's last game?). What's that? Four seasons ago?
