I often wonder just how many sets of kit are supplied throughout the club, just seeing the options given to Charlie Austin alone make the eyes water. Also, driving past Solent Uni I notice that the sports students all wear the red Saints kit, is that part of the "uniform" for those studying sports science or whatever.

Thanks for that, when you think of it, we have not heard of groin injuries like we used to, some players had a lot of repetitive groin strains. I imagine the hip injuries show up a few years later.

I thought exactly the same, it has been cutting up for a while and was wondering why those huge heatlamps we've got haven't been improving the growth. We obviously couldn't replace Morgan or Clyne with equality as they were the best the top clubs wanted and we just couldn't keep. I also think that the youngsters are good but not good enough for the first team, look at the stick JWP is getting and Matt Targett got, the fans are demanding better quality to what is available. Still only a couple of points off top 6. I agree that we are at our level and it's great when we punch above it.

He certainly has his critics on here but he is highly thought of by previous managers, Koeman, Southgate and Hodgson, there opinions mean more to me, a lot to come from the youngster yet.
