  1. If anyone can't see this team are lacking a ball playing number 10 capable of holding the ball up so others can get past him, picking a pass and even hitting one in the top corner every so often, I worry for them. Our attacking is so woefully one dimensional and has been for a while. We labour the ball in to the channels and then cut it back for the full back to swing in a cross. If the opposition are able to deal with that, we then go on to struggle as nobody seems to have the ability to make a difference through the middle.
  2. Scored a minute later though.
  3. Just me that gets the irony of the original post then? All interesting threads are high jacked by the same posters, all bickering like little ***ts. You have to sift through pages and pages of insults and petit point scoring before finding something worth reading.

He has earned the right for more patience. If he f*cked off at the first sign of another club sniffing around for him, this place would be up in arms, we can't just dispose of a manager the first time he has a dodgy string of results.
  5. Yup. Only plus side that might come out of this is is might snap the club out of this sense of self-satisfaction and complacency it has about itself. Players need to work harder, so do the staff but we also need to attract some better players.
  6. Had a big reputation a few years ago. Think he was on Inter's books at one point...
  7. Indeed. Actually shocked. What a horrible, f*cked up world we live in.
  8. Play too good football to go down. Really hope they keep Monk on but have a feeling they'll get rid and offer Brendon a route back in.
  9. Didn't Steven Gerrard keep getting hamstring injuries in his early career due to his teeth? Something to do with the nerves being connected.
  10. Madelaine.
  11. Dean Richards, hands down. Great player and sold on for £8m.
  12. Adam Campbells a bit of a strange shout condidering he is about 5ft tall and was released by Newcastle at the end of last season. I'd take Ayoze Perez though.
  13. Pretty sure your loyalty points would have expired by now! You shouldn't have too much bother getting tickets for St Mary's. Try and get yourself a membership for tickets.
  14. Anyone have an iPad friendly link?
  15. I used to live in Denia. I would recommend there. Great little town. About an hours drive from Alicante and Valencia airports.
  16. Anyone been? My girlfriend and I looking to go next July for our honeymoon. Originally had planned to only spend a week there before flying to the Seychelles for a week on the beach but now we are considering doing a whole two weeks in South Africa. Thinking along the lines of flying in to Cape Town, 2, 3 or 4 nights there before driving the garden route to Kruger over a few days, stay in Kruger for 3 or 4 days safari, perhaps Victoria falls after then back to Cape Town to fly back to UK. Any advice on places to stay/things to do/see whilst we are there?
  17. What info do you need?
  18. How did you manage it? Have you had to subscribe to anything?
  19. First time I've needed to use Kodi this season but Vdubt25 saying I need to update (I don't know how to - any tips?) and NBC Live Sports saying I now need a user name and password. Can anyone shed any light and help?
  20. Wonderful stuff. My nephew is the Saints fan...
  21. MLG, my nephew is a scholar at Saints. Will he be on the game this season? If so, any chance of bumping up his PA? I plan to build the side around him.
  22. Yep, it is good. I said I think Rooney is a decent player. Just not a great one. He burst on to the scene, full of promise but that promise was never materialised to its full extent. Had Rooney played in an era where we had viable alternatives available (such as the mid-90s), he wouldn't have got anywhere near the record.
  23. Wayne Rooney is a Stan Collymore in a world without Sheringhams, Fowlers, Wrights, Coles, Ferdinands and Shearers. Decent player, good enough to play international football but the fact he has played for England enough times to become all time scorer is testament to the fact there has been a massive lack of serious, long-term rivals for his place in the team. He is not an England great.
