  1. Sod it, I'll post again. A couple of you have got 1 but nobody has mentioned the other yet!
  2. 0/2. Only 1 post left for today. Will comment again when someone gets it right.
  3. As a bit of light relief, I am ITK that a couple of players were issued club fines on our recent tour of Holland, caught by Puel breaking curfew out catching Pokemon. 10 points to anyone able to correctly guess the players in question...

    U23s

I think as with Gape it is just giving them game time so scouts can have a look at them.

  6. Four goals in one game against a rubbish Norwich team and 2 against a Tottenham side who had all but given up takes the gloss off those 11 goals. Coupled with the fact he registered no goals away from home suggests he is prone to go missing. Would probably do better in a better side admittedly but don't think he justifies £25m.
  7. He has been coaching Arsenal's under 18s for the past 2 seasons...
  8. Players do not move "for Champions League football". It is a myth. They go to wherever is willing to pay them the most. If Lincoln City put a bit in and offered him £300k a week, make no mistake, he would go there over Spurs all day long. Good luck to him. A great player on his day but very inconsistent and became a bit of a liability at times last season with his discipline. Should fit in well at Spurs.
  9. Really thought Koeman had earned the right to go to a bigger club when leaving us. Disappointed in him. Yes Everton are going to throw some money around after their takeover but so are Chelsea, Man City, Man Utd and Liverpool this summer. All 4 clubs have bigger drawing power than Everton so he will still be shopping in the same market he is at Southampton yet dealing with a squad full of dead wood, questionable team spirit and massively over rated young talents such as Barkley and Stones. I guess he will be earning more money but he risks spoiling his legacy by going to Everton and doing an average job. It just doesn't make sense. See out your contract here and earn yourself a bigger job at a much more prestigious club than Everton.
  10. Can't imagine the club will be too happy about his old man speaking to the press. His card will be marked from day 1 at the club...
  11. Oh yes, I didn't think about that. Yes, I would take the results suggested by angelman then!
  12. If Palace win we have to go through the qualifiers again. Much rather Utd win and we get group stage qualification straight away.
  13. I was going to say this. The same Fulham where the average property price is around £3m. Oh no, give me Hedge End any day of the week!
  14. Anyone know what Leicester got from their last 19 games last season?
  15. Any iPad friendly streams knocking about?
  16. Cheik Tiote? Give me strength...
  17. As long as Mane is still inVolvoed, its a great idea!!
  18. Really hate this phrase. Same as 'worldie' and using the word 'beans' for post. Coined by the mugs on Soccer Saturday. Sadly even MLT gets involved.
  19. It is my opinion based on our transfer outgoings the past 3 summer transfer windows. I don't think we are about to change approach now. Wanyama is unsettled and angling for a move every time the window opens. With his contract running down, this summer will be time to re-sign or time to cash in. Given his tantrums so far, I'd say we are more likely to cash in than get him to sign a new contract. I hope I am wrong. Top player on his day. Mané had his head turned at the end on the last summer transfer window with the Man Utd rumours. Apparently Bayern Munich and Dortmund are sniffing about too. We won't turn down big money IMO. Especially after his inconsistent showings this season.
  20. Wanyama and Mané will be leaving. The sooner people get their heads around this, the better. No point being shocked and angered when it happens. We'll miss Victor but Mané has been largely anonymous for long periods this season. If we can get £25-30m for him, we'll be laughing all the way to the bank.
  21. Why would they? After a strong start he has yet again reverted to type and produced a string of poor results at Palace. Whilst they are higher than Newcastle, it is hardly the kind of form or results to pine for is it?
  22. Anyone got a stream please?
  23. So come on then, who are you backing? Any tips? I'm going for Saint Are to win and a cheeky tenner on The Romford Pele e/w. The Mrs is going for The Last Samuri to win and an e/w on Soll.
