  4. I've got 40 quid on more than 2.5 goals. Is there going to be another goal, or should I cash out now?
  5. I'd like to keep her. Twice.
  6. oh you are sooooo beautiful.......
  7. I need this season to be over. I cant keep watching football and feeling sick. If I'm not there, I start drinking, if I am there, I've been drinking. Win and I drink some more, lose and I drown my sorrows. Just let us win today and West Ham lose, and my liver, heart-rate and bile will all be able to recover.....
  8. break, cross from Butterfield, Lmabert lost two markers and got his head on it from inside the 6 yard box. one nil
  9. why dont I know anyone who looks like this?
  10. I thought everyone dribbles? Is it only me? another of life's illusions shattered........ 3 points would be most welcome this afternoon....:-)
  11. The Guly debate is a simple one for me. We are all entitled to our opinion, but unless you are managing a professional football team at an equal, or higher, level than Mr Adkins, then you have to concede that he knows more about football than you or I. He has also lead this side to promotion in his first year, and with 5 games to go, the team tops the second tier of English football, so let's just summarise that he is doing something right. To insist that Guly needs never to play again, is clearly an opposing viewpoint from that of our manager. So, it is a question of who would you trust more, Nigel Adkins, or your own opinion? Personally, I'll let the management structure decide, and i'll stick to what I'm good at, drinking beer and shouting from the terraces.
  12. I woke up this morning, and realised that this fixture will be entirely forgotten about come 3pm tomorrow. We dont have the time to feel sorry for ourselves, we are still top and if we win 5 out of 5 we go up as Champions. Win 4 out of 5, we go up - as we know 11 points makes it certain, and that's if WestHam go on a 5 out of 5 winning streak themselves. I can see Reading being as difficult a game as yesterday, but all of the other fixtures will lack the intensity and we will be better for it. We are top with 15 points to go. Brighton, Birmingham, Hull, Leicester, Bristol City, Nottm Forest, all have things to play for and all have to play our promotion challengers. come on boys, I'm proud of what you have achieved this season, but I will be immeasurably proud if you can just take us over the finishing line....
  13. for all the talk of Readings form, they have won 8, lost 1, drawn 1 of their last ten. Our last ten form is won 7, lost 1, drawn 2, which if we win tomorrow becomes won 8, lost 1, drawn 1 - the same as "mighty" Reading. For all the talk of where have they come from...?, what a roll they are on..., we should be fearful of Reading..., it is exactly the same for them. nothing to be scared of for me. They won at home today, they have 2 very winnable home fixtures left against Forest and Palace and three very losable fixtures away at Brighton, Saints and Brum. Beat portsmouth tomorrow and we will be top and running out of games very fast....
  14. hahahhaahaha
  15. alright, alright, there's bragging, and then there's bragging.... hat's off to you for potentially landing a £2625 winning bet, I wish I could, BUT, be fair, there's nothing that says the weekend will be memorable for the cheap hooker...... :-)
  16. We'll never fill St Mary's... Matt Oakley, future England captain.... Sir Clive is a good move forward for football....
  17. I apologise for putting this on it's own thread. but you know what, Ant has posted this elsewhere and for the sake of a text, we can raise some money... http://ljsfoundation.org.uk/ my tenners in already, and for the price of a beer this evening, we can put some cash in the pot. who's up for buying billy sharp a beer? for a cause he cares about more than we ever could and his goals won us the game today sorry mods :-)

  23. Is it just a single user that you need? If so, then you are in safe-ish hands with Sage, it is proven, widely adopted and support is available readily should you need it. It's also inexpensive. If you start needing more functionality, or more users, then despite Sage's other offerings, I think there are better products out there. It's an easy analogy with cars. If you want a car for 1 person, you might buy a two seater sports car, but if you've got a family of 5 to transport, you wouldn't. I like Quickbooks, and if you're used to it, it might be the better product for you, but support is harder to find.
  24. Jeez. Game abandoned. I really wished for Saints to equalise against Millwall, would have preferred to keep my wishes for this one
