  1. I agree. It ****es me off when people dont even know who was playing
  2. for those of you slating Chaplow, how about the 50/60 yard tracking back to stay with the left winger, which earned a pat on the back from butterfield, how about the great defensive sliding tackle on the edge of the area in the first half, resulting in a corner, rather than a shot to save, howabout the tracking back and disposing of the man on the ball at least 2/3 occasions that I can remember. He should have scored today, he also had an opportunity that the ref blew for offside against sharp, despite him not touching the ball. Chaplow is a quality footballer, who perhaps isnt at the same peak that we saw early on this season, but his presence on the field is huge. He's never afraid to let someone know he is in the game and he will never allow a free header. Granted, he did concede possession a few times in the second half, some of which we his fault, and some of which were players not moving into the obvious position to receive the ball. (Lambert acknowledged one to him with his hand up). He was not poor today, I would perhaps give him a 6 out of 10, but would give the midfield accolades to Hammond and Cork, who bossed it
  3. I think it is results between the two teams. Which gives us 4 points, to West Ham's 1
  4. I was thinking after the Portsmouth result that what is important is what happens over the entire season. Not what happens in any 90 minutes, or for that matter, any given second that a goal is scored. Portsmouth has a limited view of the world, and will be crowing today that WHam have closed the gap, they are not yet relegated and we are going to bottle it. We know better than that. I have no doubt that Portsmouth will be relegated at the end of this season. We will save our gloating until then. I also believe that we will secure enough points to keep West Ham in third place. It was good for us that Bristol City didnt win today, it will keep them hungry for the visit of West Ham. Good luck to them for Tuesday. I will enjoy the trip to Peterborough, we will have large numbers there and will get plenty of opportunities to score. I expect I will enjoy the trip back better, with 3 points in the bag, and with Portsmouth finally put out of their misery. Hopefully courtesy of a Bristol win. If WestHam do win, then we have to beat Peterborough. Beat Peterborough and beat Coventry and WestHam wont catch us. They will not get a hatfull of goals against their remaining opponents. I dont care about winning the league and never have done, the prize is promotion, hopefully via automatic places. Portsmouth will probably crow about how they won it, when they last got promotion. Good luck to them on that, personally, I will be supporting a premiership side next year and they will not have anyone to support. We can put on chin on our chests, or we can go to London Road, knowing that we need to win and we can play as well as we played against Reading and come away with 3 points. Plenty more twists and turns ahead, but I can't see anything but an away win on Tuesday COYR and WTFILN ?
  5. Harte red card second half please. oh, and a brighton equaliser. and, if it's not too much to ask, another red for Kebe and a stubbed toe for Roberts. thanks
  6. come on brighton, make it feisty.....
  7. Iconic. Just like the little old lady on her mobility scooter.....
  8. Easter hols, and plenty of people of folks gone away? I've had to talk the other half into being in Southampton friday, rather than being in north devon.....
  9. blow the bloody whistle ref
  10. we need a red card for Nolan, a fourth goal for brum, then I am happy
  11. I've always liked Brighton.* They've been like a second team to me. ** If Southampton didnt exist, I would support Brighton *** I hope they win tomorrow **** * (No I havent) ** (No they havent) ***(No I wouldnt) **** (Yes I do)
  12. yea, but this was funny :-)

  14. I've just been reading the 32 pages on KUMB. It was poetry in motion. Wrist slitters a plenty for a while, then the glimmer of hope, get in Vaz Te, come on boys, we can win this, get to half time, goal behind, we can do this. then tits. brilliant, people were still celebrating the west ham goal very, very funny
  15. my family just doesn't understand me. They can't understand why I am cheering, punching my arms in the air, celebrating another team's goal, in a game that doesn't involve Saints. One day they'll learn....
  16. i love the end of season, when you can support another person's team as much as your own. come on the brum
