When will it be too late to take action, Reed. If we go down your doomed as well so get off your effing Rrse and do what you are paid to do.
-
It'll be great to see Morgan back in action on the pitch wherever he ends up. He'll get a fantastic reception here next year when Everton (if indeed it is they) visit.
-
Apart from putting out cones and saying "well done lad" now and then, what does he do. Admittedly everyone in the game wants to shake his hand and to be honest I have always marvelled at the Match Day Uncovered footage when just about everyone from the visiting oppositions rushed up to greet him, staff and players alike so maybe he knows exactly where all the brown envelopes are buried and which players have a fancy bit on the side!

'Hard to say' means 'nigh on impossible' in any sane persons book. Football is a funny old game as Mastermind winners like Shearer like keeping to remind us and some of our more fantastic fans would rather hear what they want to hear than accept our current reality. Without Jose, I'd settle for 0-3.

They seem to be more impressed by Saints than any of us are which means they just aren't keeping up. Do they know Koeman left? Still, it's good they rate us.
-
How does that work if all the Itchen STs like me take up their seats? There are no spare seats in the Itchen centre. People like Lastman73 end up having to take the left overs in the other 3 stands which usually means in a very poor position and which is grossly unfair. Who can blame him if he decides he's not prepared to accept second best. ST holders buy their seats for a very good reason, to secure a decent viewing position that suits them for every game.
-
When is his contract up? Maybe the club intend to just run it down and let him go on a free. Hard to imagine many bids for a player who hasn't really featured in his time here for whatever reasons and is injury prone.

No need to panic lads, Puel is a great bloke with perfect strategies for success. Playing for a draw today was all part of a master plan to force a replay so that we can play 3 games every week and perfect our rotation system to which our players are ideally suited. Les said so, so it must be right. By the way stop looking down the league table at the small minded midget clubs below us striving only for 40 pts and survival as we are not one of them and are only looking upwards to the 6th spot in the league and we might as well win this cup competition on our way as is important in England and interesting for fans.

This is like polishing a t***
-
Not necessarily gone but making sure they are not cup tied. It is good that VVD and Bertrand are playing suggest no looming trouble on those fronts. Forster defo stubbed his leg making a clearance v Everton and hobbled for a while

Player fitness, rotation, training, etc.

Your point being? -
Yep! 6 gone 25 to go and little sign of life anywhere. I just checked the OS and there was a pic of Puel and I thought he been kicked out today but no just another load of b******* from him about trying harder and togetherness and everything in the garden is rosy....

Everton & WBA are almost certain to come in for him.

When was the last time Saints board treated their fans with anything other than arrogance & contempt? What do you expect from a poorly regulated industry awash with unaccountable cash, run by narrow-minded, self seeking nonentities who by and large have no interest in life beyond how to enrich themselves at the public's expense and living off the fat of the land. We are the fools for turning up in our droves eager to hand over our hard earned money and expect nothing in return. The greedy barstewards must be laughing all the way to their bank vaults. The solution is obvious but of course as with all addiction it is friggin nigh on impossible to kick the habit.... and 'they' know that and milk it for all it's worth. That's how it works, you earn it they take it off you. Where in that scenario is the motive for change if change does not come from us?
-
Which is exactly the point, if players aren't getting game time then it doesn't take genius to work out that they won't be match fit. It is obvious now from all the red faces and puffing chests that all our players are knackered after about 60 minutes. Because of rotation nobody gets enough time to be fit. The real price of Puel's flawed philosophy and it's amazing that the other coaches and fitness guys haven't cottoned on.

Let's go for Raphael Benitez as he is an expert at getting bigger clubs out of the Championship at the first attempt.

This sort of thinking shows how low the expectations of some of our so-called fans have fallen. Quite depressing to read. Cheer up for goodness sake, we'll still have a club to support in 10 years time whoever comes or goes. Who is still here from 10 years ago upstairs or downstairs? Only US! Try to keep some perspective even in rough times.
-
This. I cannot believe fans think it a good idea to cash in on any of our players just to add to the stash of cash amassed in a Swiss bank account.
-
We lost 3-0 in case you hadn't noticed. We've shipped 9 goals in 3 games. All the claptrap you have written doesn't add up to a row of beans. We are in free fall and it won't be easy to pull out of this nosedive.
-
So Les, what targets were set by the board for your job last January, how many of them did you meet or surpass and how do you explain your performance on any that were not met?
-
And the award for the most stupid post of the day goes to...
-
Let's just get rid of Puel and start again, this season is over for us.
-
No Chinese Whispers?

What are you talking about?

The game of blame and counter blame has no solution so we must rely on Puel's team judgement to decide who should play and who should not. Let's face it every poster on here has his or her own favourites who can do no wrong and conversely their own bête noir in whom no good will ever be seen. There is little objective opinion worth a candle on here and why should there be as none of us are allowed anywhere near activities behind the scenes to make judgements for ourselves? Fact is our players seem to play better against open-style 'good footballing sides' and very poorly against physical, massed ranks, long ball exponents. Not rocket science to equate that to time on the ball makes the difference. It's not just Redmond, there is a ponderousness about our passing that frustrates time after time. e are not yet that good at genuine flowing one-touch football even if that is the goal to which we aspire.
