Fortunately for SFC, the Pinnacle deal is not reliant on them having your trust. I think it is more relevant to people that matter, i.e. those involved in the deal. Given your support of Lowe and his lacky Wilde, your trust in Pinnacle is not really relevant.

Is a coco clock one that goes off when its time for bed? If so thats cocoa

Did she have a dog? I thought it was a goat. Perhaps we are going to be taken over by the Red Cross. Red Cross Southampton has a decent ring about it and it fits in quite well with our colour scheme. Could come in handy as well, we could dispense with the St Johns Amulance fellas on match days.

I think MLT has a nose for smelling a rat

But you never know, they may be on a roll...

I believe that players become free agents 2 weeks after they were not paid, not 2 days, so that would be about 9th July. I agree Wotte is probably a free agent in a couple of days though, but he probably more than anyone knows whether he has a future here or not, so will have made his own plans to stay or go, but he would probably like to be paid first before he leaves. I really am beginning to question whether the so called posts from Tony on here are genuine or not. I'm not sure what would convince me they were, but its just beginning to sound more fiction than fact now, especially his response to GM's so-called apology which is clearly now just another wind-up from the king of wind-ups. I still believe the Pinnacle deal will go through by Tuesday, and also I am 100% sure that if it doesn't we are dead in the water and SFC will no longer exist in its current form, because the Swiss bid seems even less believable than Pinnacle. Indeed we know absolutely nothing about it.

The only problem with your argument is that SLH cannot provide a CVA because they will be liquidated. This is to me the only way out of this mess, i.e. for someone to take over SLH, admit it was SLH that went into admin and then, once the CVA has been produced liquidate the SLH. I just feel at the moment that no-one is prepared to do this, and I'm not convinced that this course of action is even feasible at this stage, because it would involve purchasing the shares in SLH from their current owners. The whole deal is set up to take over SFC, not SLH.

So you are sucked in as well. The electoral register is meaningless, as you would know if you were aware of the British electoral system. The Jewish Chronicle, great, font of all knowledge. Have you actually met and discussed this with any real person that might know him? He is probably not the main man, but is involved and has I understand been involved in multi-million deals. Do you honestly believe that MLT would have got involved if the main man was a mummy's boy who had no money. That is just an insult to MLT. I am very happy to face facts, but having been presented with none, I keep an open mind and hope that this deal comes through, despite all the bad press being generated on here. Because the alternative is extinction. I don't play poker, because its a mugs game, and you sir are demonstrating that you are eminently qualified to be a competitor

Nothing to do with the rules of the FL then. 15 points for not coming out of Admin with a CVA. Since we are not in Admin we can't produce a CVA. 15 point deduction nailed on im my view (it woud be wrong but thats not the issue).

How do you sell players when they are out of contract or their contract has been defaulted by non-payment of wages. Players are free agents at the end of this month if they do not get paid. In any case, who do we have to sell? And for that matter who do we have that can sell anyone.

Why do potential owners feel the need......
VectisSaint replied to lordswoodsaints's topic in The Saints
The answer probably is that these people know that they need supporters on their side, and these forums are the best way they have of interacting with what they believe is a reasonably sized cross section of such supporters. Unfortunately they do not realise until too late that there are a number of people on these forums who have been arguing the toss about Lowe and Wilde for so long that they have become blinded to the reality of our situation, and think this is all just a game and that they can make unfounded accusations with no recrimination. With the gutter press we have these days, these comments which the loonies think are just harmless fun, then backfire by being picked up by the press and being reported. Thats when these potential buyers get very concerned about what they are doing. -
True, there is no evidence. Just like there is no evidence that Pinnacle are penniless chancers, or that there is a credible Swiss bid in the wings. But there have been plenty of hints about this from Pinnacle and Fry, making it quite clear that the 10 points is not the issue. It is however, one of the most likely scenarios, and is credible. By the way you misunderstand about the Football League. The FL are not the blazer brigade, that is the Football Association. The FL has always been a professional organisation since its founding in 1888. It has often been at odds with the FA, initially because the FA were against professionalism in football. The FL do hold a grudge against the founder members of the FA Premier League, of that I am almost certain.
-
But thats the point that you are missing. SLH cannot provide a CVA either, because SLH will be liquidated. This is the big issue (not the -10). Those who follow what is happening realise that the FL by their perverse ruling have dug themselves into a corner, but that will not stop them fining us with a further points deduction. They require a CVA to avoid that deduction but legally no-one can provide a CVA, SLH because they are to be liquidated, SFC because they are not in administration. Catch 22, hence Pinnacle or anyone else cannot legally meet the requirements of the FL without having further points deducted. If they did provide a CVA it would be fraudulent. If they did not liquidate SLH and did provide a CVA that would cost and confirm to the FL that SLH/SFC was inextricably linked. The only way out of this is to reach an agreement with the FL not to impose the further penalty and that to my mind is what is holding up the deal.
-
Unless of course the person/company is not potless, but has been made out to be by members of the press or others posting on message boards without any "proof" other than a fruitless search in google. Seems like MLT still believes the deal will complete. That will certainly make a few people look like chumps.

Wonder where the Echo got its information. Most of the **** being written about this guy was seen on here before it made it to the Echo, and has been repeated by several on here despite them having no grounds for the information that they were writing. Hope SWF don't get sucked in because of some posters.
-
No, Dyer has gone to Swansea
-
At this point in time we are not even in League One, or even League Two. We do not have an entry in any League for next season.
-
But clearly that is not the point. We know we are -10 everyone knows that, always have. The sticking point is not the -10, it is the lack of right to appeal and the imposition of a further penalty when we cannot provide a CVA because we cannot come out of admin as we are not in it. The FL will not issue any statement, they will have provided the information to the parties involved confidentially as any proper business people would do. The sooner people understand the FL owes nothing to supporters the sooner people will be clearer what is going on. The FL also owes nothing to Southampton, indeed they will probably lose no sleep whatsoever in seeing one of the founder members of the FA premier League going under. We are one of 22 clubs who brought the FL to their knees in 1991, there is no love lost between those 22 clubs and the FL. Leeds have already found this to their cost.
-
And you wonder why people walk away. The Echo gets most of its trash from here, and people like you who know nothing about the guy posting crap like this. Beggars belief that people can be so stupid. The only show in town and ****s want to make the guy look stupid. Of course he will want to help us when he finds out stuff like this is being written. Its not about being thick-skinned, its about people having some respect. There is no other viable option, we will be dead within a wekk unless Pinnacle do the business. The Swiss bid if it exists will go the same way once someone finds out one little bit of information about it, such as the main man lives in a semi in geneva with his Mum. ****** to all of you guys who are pushing this Club closer and closer to the brink of extinction.
-
But like so many others you have no REAL evidence to support this theory and yet like some other people on here you seem to think that rumour=fact. You probably don't understand the business world to know how due diligence works. If you did you would realise that these stories are probably nonsense. M271 is dead right, we are on the verge of extinction down to Lowe and Wilde, but now people want to blame Lynam and Fry, the only ones so far to have even come close to having a genuine bid. We would already be dead by now if it hadn't been for them and the Swiss bid would not have even occurred (if indeed it has).
-
They'll probably be contacting Rupert Lowe then...:smt093
-
The top man evidently lives in a semi in Geneva with his Mum. Is that going to be a problem? Wish people would stop digging, all it does is spread malicious unfounded gossip, and gets people thinking its all great or all about to ge tits up. If it happens then who cares who they are, we are close to extinction and still some people think its fun to try to knock anyone who shows an interest. Personally I feel that the Swiss bid is no more likely than Pinnacle to succeed, in fact probably less so, they will face all the same issues (if there are issues).

One reason why I can't see us going out of business.
VectisSaint replied to hypochondriac's topic in The Saints
Please explain the "logistical nightmare" with the fixtures. How can a team dropping out present a nightmare? It just leaves 23 teams in the division for 1 season, with teams having a day off when they were due to play us. Simples, happens all the time in leagus up and down the country and has happened before in the Football League. Also who would take up a legal battle? If Pinnacle have no money they would not be able to afford it? Especially as they know they would lose. You think Barclays are going to sue the League? Dream on. Aviva, ha ha!! Sorry man, but the FL will not a lose a win of sleep if Southampton, founder members of the FA Premier League go out of business. Its called pay-back time for one of the 22 clubs that shafted the Football League in 1991. -
Going into Admin was a better option than being liquidated which was the other option. At least it gave us a chance. If ultimately that does not work either we will be no worse off. The bottom line was that the only way this club was going to continue was for Lowe to leave and to go into administration. It should have happened earlier, but it didn't. No-one wanted us to go into admin because it would be fun, but because it was the only option if we were to survive. Its looking increasingly like it is also going to fail, but at least some people tried.

True, do I believe a respected accountancy firm acting as Administrators, MLT and TL, or do I believe someone who posts on a message board. Duh, difficult one that. Please try to understand that no-one could get this far without the funds existing, and no-one would **** £1mill against a wall just to pull off a hoax.
