Tough - yes. Do able - yes. Likelihood of winning all - not great. We will lose but it will be how that is managed that will be key.

Like. ? A more holistic approach is what is required. When you have consistency through out the club over the playing style you then just need to concentrate on putting the players in that suite the style. Liverpool and Tottenham both seem to have lost their style of play - Liverpool to accommodate Steve g and Tottenham because of MP.

Long as he did well last time out. Mane as replacement to give them even more of the run around.

No please please no. ITV are especially talentless when it comes to football.

The depth of analysis is gobsmacking really.

Or Morgan/Victor to protect his front

I have the same feeling. Still it's his choice and obviously not the clubs.

At last

As a DM he is one of the best around and has been for a couple of seasons.

Ditto - glad the team won't be treating it like that.

Wouldn't be overly happy about it but that's life I suppose. Just wish spuds and Liverpool invested in something like a long term plan tbh.

So maybe having a translator was good for us?

MP had pliable "want to improve" players at SFC. At spuds he has no such luxury. -
**** and there was me hoping to get that Clasie (sp) chap in.

The goals for is not to shabby either

It was a good season. Can this season be better? God only knows but I know I'm enjoying it. I can't be arsed but is there not a comparison to be had on where after 11 games in the past few seasons the traditional top four were in the table, after all it's not just about the points we "need" it's about how the others are performing. As it sits currently we have clear daylight (more than 3 points) from Man City, not saying that will last but I thought it would have been only 2 today.

And that one that does needs his head read.

Who are you and what have you done with Alpine Saint? ? I've always thought that as long as the team do not think like some saints fans and plenty of the so called pundits then we could carry on "surprising" the so called experts.

At least some on there recognise it's more to do with their ****e midfield that does not provide the protection that VW & MS gave him (similar to this season). It was noticeable at times towards the mid to end of last season that he was left wanting at times - Spurs away springs to mind where they played the ball very wide so in effect by passing VW & MS down the wings and thereby exposing Lovren on more occasions than was the norm against us last season.

Agree with that but we have got a great training squad what with RK's brother who has managed, the same as sammy lee - all of that experience to draw on. -

Couldn't make the game today so I'm glad to see VW is getting the plaudits he deserves - how old is he? Also glad SL is starting to be just more than a pain in the arse - totally understand RK's comments about him needing to adjust to the way we train and how we want him to play. Not getting over confident (been supporting SFC for to many years) but to be four points ahead of our nearest rivals (Man city no less) is somewhat comforting. If our mindset is right and baring injuries and possible suspensions we should and could put a few of the "big boys" noses out of joint - which is the only thing the press and certain pundits have left in their lockers. Now wouldn't that be good. -
At what point does winning every game get tedious?
Toadhall Saint replied to Chewy's topic in The Saints
Agreed -
A big one at that - oh and not priceless just inflated like his ego.
